Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the trick. A few months back, I purchased a Taylor Made R15 TP 3 wood. My bag is filled with TP ironset and hybrids. I prefer these clubs because I want limited offset and I don't need help squaring the club at impact. I didn't care for the stock shaft that came in the 3 wood. It had a vague feel (had difficulty feeling exactly ehere my misses occurred on the club face) and it was definitely designed to lower the ball flight. This normally isn't an issue for me as I tend to flight the ball medium to high with all my clubs. The club head is also designed with a more forward center of gravity to keep ball flight down. This combination didn't work well for me from the fairway and rough. I purchased the Aldila NVS shaft and it gave me all the qualities I needed and noe I feel as confident from the ground as I had from the tee and I also like the height and carry more from the tee. Aldila shafts really suit my game. I now have one version in my driver, 3 wood, 3 hybrid and 4 hybrid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I recently put a NVS 55 A shaft in my Ping G25 3 wood and I'm loving the results. Nice high ball flight with alittle draw. Perfect!

shaft for Ping tisi tec 323cc head...looking at Aldila 65S .350 4B2M high launch . If I send you the head can you pure a shaft and install with grip? want 48 inch shaft..any other shaft suggestion would be appreciated..{low cost that is}

Asked by: Bob
We can do this for you here at GolfWorks US but to get the finished club length to 48" will require a shaft extension. The NV could be a good shaft for working at 48" but the butt diameter makes it difficult to find an extension that fits properly. Another shaft to look at could be the Graphite Design YS6+ (YS633WPL). The Kuro Kage Black HBP (MR0044) could also be a good choice. The high balance point of this shaft will help keep the swingweight from getting quite so heavy.

I have a 2014 taylor made R15 with a Fujikura speeder 57 regular flex. At nearly 68 years old, I am finding a regular shaft causing me to lose distance and swing speed. I am interested in the Aldila nvs 55 senior shaft. Any suggestions

Asked by: john boy
The NVS 55 is a very good shaft and could work well. Other shaft to look at would be the Xcaliber Tour SL (AS0026) and the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 (TT0106). We also have the shaft tip adaptors for the Taylor Made R15 (TM0023) if you need a new shaft adaptor or the existing adaptor can be reshafted. https://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-m1-m2-r-15-sldr-shaft-adaptor/p/TM0023/

I have a Jetspeed and R15 driver heads and need a shaft with adaptor to fit them. Are they the same adaptors? If so,can you supply a NVS 55R shaft with adaptor and grip fitted?

Asked by: Mal
Correction. The shaft adapters for the Jetspeed and R15 are interchangeable so you could use the TM0023 adaptor with both of these drivers.

Can you tell me what matching shaft you have for Aldila NVS-K model fairway shaft I bought new in an Adams Speedline Super XTD 13* wood. The "K" is throwing me? Any idea what it means?....Thanks, Gary

Asked by: GaryO
The NVS-K Fairway shaft in this case would have been made exclusively for Adams. The K in this case tells me this as well as the fact that Aldila never offered an NVS aftermarket fairway wood. Generally the fairwood shafts were in the mid 70 gram weight range. The NVS 65 (AL202202) would still be the closest match. We no longer have a 70 gram version available for this shaft.

What is pureing and what does it do?

Asked by: Art
Puring identifies the most stable plane of oscillation and the stiff side of the shaft. There is no such thing as a perfectly round or perfectly straight golf shaft. Puring identifies that plane that will make the shaft play as if it is round and straight. A mark is placed on the shaft during the process that is used to align the shaft during assembly. Here is a link to the SST Pure web site where you can read more about the process and watch a video on how the shafts are tested. http://sstpure.com/

Want Regular shaft complete for to attach to m1  driver what would you suggest..

Asked by: Mwd69
The M1 driver uses a .335" tip diameter shaft so any R flex shaft who's specifications fit your needs will work. You would also need to use the TM0023 shaft adapter for this installation. The Aldila NVS is a very good shaft but again does it fit what you want and need the shaft to do for you. You might want to answer the questions at this link and create a shaft MPF code to see which shafts could work for you. http://www.golfworks.com/mpf-shaft-fitting-worksheet/a/496/

Replacement shaft m1 driver

Asked by: Mwd69
The Aldila NVS could be a good replacement shaft for the M1 driver. It matches quite well to the stock shaft used by Taylor Made.
