I am looking to change the shaft on my air force one driver. I want the length to be 45" not over. The one I like is the aldila phenom rip stiff shaft. Is the .335 × 46. The shaft I should looking for?

Now that my driver has been modified thanks guys!! My next project is my hybrid 3... I was hoping to replace my 5 wood with my new AFO airfoil 2 hybrid 3. From what I have read it might be possible if I made the shaft an inch and half longer. It is my understanding that might help. I want to go with the the Aldila RIP phenom in a stiff shaft. I went with the 60 on my driver. What are your thoughts on the hybrid?

I broke my TaylorMade R9 Driver shaft. It's a Motore F1 65 Flex S. I need a new adapter and shaft. I believe it was stock so I am not sure what the hosel depth, playing length and club head type are if it was stock. What is Pureing? Thank you,

Asked by: Rob
We no longer carry an adaptor for the R9 Driver. You may need to contact Taylor Made to see if there are any available. The hosel diameter on the R9 is a .335. Information about SST Pureing can be viewed at the link below.

Could you provide trimming instructions for Phenom Hybrid 370 shafts? I have Taylormade R15 Hybrids (2,4, and 5).

Asked by: Percy
Those shafts are all butt trim to length only.

Can this shaft be used in a Ping G20 Hybrid head. It is a .355 bore. I have read that a club fitter just sands the shaft down to fit. Would that be proper?

Asked by: Tim
We would not advise the sanding down of a .370 to a .355.
