I have a Callaway X2Hot Pro 20 degree hybrid with the Aldila Tour Green shaft. I absolutely love the club. I'm considering buying the 23 degree but it has this Aldila Tour Blue shaft installed. Can you please advise the difference between blue and green

Asked by: csigolfguy
The Tour Green (AL0041) is designed for a low/mid trajectory and the Tour Blue a mid trajectory. That is the basic difference between the two shafts.

Can the 65 S Flex be prepped for and fitted with a Taylormade M1 adaptor for standard length?

Asked by: jhuber
Yes we can do that. If you are ordering online click the Tip & Butt Trimming box and in the Special Instruction box at check out put that you want it at standard length. Also tell us which setting in the shaft adapter you would like the shaft aligned too. You will use the TM0023 shaft adapter. The stock Taylor Made Adapter is 2 degree adapter.

What does the Addila tour blue 55gram shaft cost?

Asked by: Abe
Aldila does not currently offer the Tour Blue 55 for the aftermarket. I know they have made a version for Callaway but that would have been made just for Callaway.

Is it possible to get the Tour Blue to fit a Callaway Optiforce driver, and have the shaft shortened to 44.75 inches?

Asked by: Andy Green
Yes, we can do this for you. If we are installing the adaptor too the charge would be $10.00 if we are only prepping the shaft for you the charge is $4.95. Please be sure to add this to the special instructions box during checkout. You may also call our customer service department and they could help you with this request during your order.

Can this shaft be placed on a Callaway Xr Pro driver? How do I order it so it comes with the adaptor?

Asked by: Memo
Yes the Aldila Tour Blue can be installed into the Callaway XR Pro driver. You will also need to order the Callaway CA0020 shaft adaptor and give us the instructions for how you want the shaft aligned in the adaptor and what length you want the club to be. I have the TOUR Blue aldila atx55-r with my callaway x2 hot driver.  I'm looking for a stiff shaft with low trajectory for a high rev swing for more distance. should I be looking at the tour green shafts?

Asked by: jmacek111
The Aldila Tour Green (AL0040) is designed for a low/mid trajectory and the Tour Blue is designed for a mid trajectory so the Green should give you a lower ball flight. Our shaft test data shows the Tour Green as being stiffer in the mid to lower section of the shaft compared to the Tour Blue and this would create a lower ball flight.

Will this shaft work with my G25 ping driver?  Will I need an adapter

Asked by: Todd
Yes the AL0042 shaft will fit the G25. You will need a new shaft adaptor or you would need to remove the existing shaft from the current shaft adapter and reuse it. Here is the link for the new shaft adaptor for the G25 (PGC001).
