Can the Tour Green be used in a Srixon 20* U65 driving iron?

Asked by: GOLO2875
No the Tour Green Hybrid shaft will not fit the Srixon U65 driving iron. The U65 uses a .355" taper tip shaft and the Tour Green Hybrid is only available in a .370" parallel tip. We do not have a .355" taper tip hybrid shaft. We do have taper tip iron shafts in the Aerotech Steel Fiber, UST Recoil and Paderson graphite iron shafts.

would it be ok to still tip this shaft even though the instructions say not to? I see that it has has 3 inches of parallel tip.

Asked by: andy15
Yes you could. We would always recommend leaving 1.5" of parallel tip section for proper installation.

Is there any possible way I could put a hybrid shaft into my 2 driving iron being that the .370 shaft is bigger than my .355 driving iron

Asked by: Joshua
The Aldila Tour Green hybrid shaft is only manufactured in a .370" tip size. To properly install these shafts into hybrids with a .355" hosel bore the hosel bore would have to be reamed or rebored to a .370" size.

2 questions about the Tour Green Hybrid shafts. 1) Is it possible to get the shaft one inch longer than normal? 2) How does one decide between the S and XS without hitting them.

Asked by: Jimbo60
The Tour Green Hybrid comes in a raw shaft length of 42". With that raw length you should be able to make a club 1" over a standard length for most hybrids. If you are asking if you can get the raw shaft longer than 42", then the answer would be no. Your flex should be determined primarily by your clubhead speed. If your driver speed is between 93-107 mph, you would need an S flex. If your driver speed is over 107, An XS shaft would be the best. There are other factors in determining flex, such as tempo, ball flight, etc. but generally swing speed will put you in the range you need.

What does TS, TX mean in an the Aldila Shafts?

Asked by: Steve67
The flex numbers represent "Tour Stiff" and "Tour Extra Stiff" flexes. The TS is basically in between a standard stiff and extra stiff shaft flex while the TX is in between a std extra stiff (X) shaft and a double (XX) extra stiff shaft flex.
