Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value I have been making clubs for over 25 years and have tried all kinds of combinations. I am a 60 year old, 6 handicap. I have been playing Acculite Steel shafts for the past couple of years, but the vibration was getting to my shoulders and hands. I decided to look for a graphite shaft, but was having trouble finding one with a low torque that didn't break the bank. A friend of mine that played the mini-tours suggested I look into XCaliber and boy am I glad he did. I love these shafts! Solid feel with great stability, even on off center hits. These shafts are great for hybred heads as well. I play hybreds down to my 7. Don't laugh until you try it. These shafts will stay in my bag from this point forward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AXE XCaliber Graphite Irons Shafts I removed the TT steel shafts that came with the Maltby TE Forged iron package and added these AXE XCaliber Graphite shafts. Set looks great, feels really good in my hands, plus by eliminating approximatly 20-25 grams per club I'm averaging approximately 15 yards longer per club. At 69 and hitting that extra distance I'm smiling alot more these days. I love this combination and wish Maltby would package more sets for us older guys and gals. I shot a 74 on 6700 yd. course last week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AXE Caliber graphite iron shaft I bought this shaft about two months ago and I am extremely pleased with the performance. I made up this club to tryout and have been very pleased with it. This club has given me better consistency and accuracy than I had with my x-14. I am going to replace my whole set with these shafts.

Hi...I have a nike VRS 2 hybrid and Callaway XHot 3,4, and 5 hybrids. I believe they are all .370...will this AXE shaft be suitable for all 4, or would it be better to use the AXE hybrid shafts? thanks

Asked by: halifaxhugh
With hybrids I always first look at the hybrid shafts. Iron shafts can work just fine. Unless the shaft specifications are quite a bit different between the hybrid and iron shaft I would use the hybrid shaft. With the Xcaliber shafts the specifications are similar.

I'm looking for a graphite shaft for a 9 wood (war bird) what am I looking for (39.5 in long) ?

Asked by: Roy1948
For the original War Bird 9 Wood you need to use a .335" tip diameter wood shaft and then it will be tip cut for flex and butt cut to your finished length of 39.5". A shaft like the Xcaliber AS0021 Fairway wood shaft could match well.

hello i am interested in a set of ladies flex W-5 iron shafts.  Any idea when they will be available? Is it possible to be notified when available? thank you

Asked by: arik
The Xcaliber L/A irons shafts (AS0023) are not expected in until the middle of January 2017. We have had them on order but it is an issue with the shaft manufacture. We do not have a system set up to notify you when they are in stock. If you want them it is best to put them on backorder and they will ship as soon as they come in.

What shaft would you use to replace a Yonex boron LTB600 shaft?

Asked by: Dennis
With all your individual questions asking which shaft compares best to the Yonex Boron LTB600 shaft this Project X (TT0115) would be the closest. The Yonex shaft was in the mid 80 to low 90 gram weight range. It was designed for a mid low to low trajectory. The GD0036 Graphite Design G Series 83 gram could be a good choice as well.

I am considering reshafting a set of Ping ISI irons with these shafts. The irons are currently shafted with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts but I would like to go to a lighter and more flexible shaft.

Asked by: Doug
In the Xcaliber Iron shafts you would need to use the AS0028 shafts. They are a .355" taper tip and will fit the Ping ISI irons.
