Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well! I used the adapter with my Callaway FT 9 driver. It works well. It gives more exposure of the shaft to the adapter than the OEM Adapters. The adapter had to be glued in place versus using the torque wrench with the OEM adapter. Hopefully I will be able to unscrew it if I want to change shafts.

Hi, I have a replacement head - Callaway Diablo Octane 10.5 with a threaded shaft connection. The shaft is a Callaway I-Mix. Would the I-Mix adapter kit work? and how do I tighten the adapter before gluing the I-Mix shaft to the adapter. Thank you, CMK

Asked by: CharlesMK
Make sure you have the shaft you want, because this setup works well only after all 3 components (shaft, adapter, and Imix) are glued in place. It is a strange feeling when, in your follow through the club head starts to spin.

Hello, Is this a universal I-mix club head adapter? I have an roughly 7 year old Callaway I-mix FT-i Driver that had a wrench to tighten it but this one doesn't appear to have the same set-up. Can I use this on my current head/shaft set-uo?

Asked by: Bill
This is an aftermarket I-mix adaptor and it will fit you I-mix FT-i driver.

I have a Callaway X 4 hybrid. The head was coming off so I disassembled it. In the process I destroyed what I would call an adaptor ferrule. On this club, the shaft goes through the head and needs an adaptor at the top. Can I buy this ferrule with adaptor

Asked by: Ssalmans
You would need the Callaway CSS adaptor for the .350" size for the X Hybrid. You can order from this link. https://www.golfworks.com/callaway-350-shaft-adaptor/p/CSS/

I currently have a Callaway FT-5 with the Fujikura 150 shaft. I would like to reuse the shaft for an FT-9 iMix head. Would I need the .350 or .335 adapter om this shaft?

Asked by: FarmerJohn
The Callaway FT-5 used a .350" tip size shaft so you would need the .350" size adaptor for the IMix.

How do you tighten the shaft after the adaptor is installed?

The shaft gets epoxied into the adaptor.
