Clubmakers Vise Graphite Shaft Extractor

Accommodates all shaft sizes. Secure the shaft between the Shaft Extractor pads with the hosel positioned in the appropriate holder. Attach the ratchet to the other side and glide the head off the shaft tip! A constant 4-in of clamp pressure prevents slipage.
Clubmakers Vise Graphite Shaft Extractor is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from shaft extractor The shaft extractor works as advertised. It fits shafts from 0.335 to 0.350 to 0.370. The fitting for 0.335 is so tight on the shaft that I have had to use the 0.350 to extract shafts from woods. The rather nice rachet that is pictured in the product literature was not shipped with the unit I received. Rather, a conventional socket rachet was included. Golf Works should reduce the price and note that a standard ratchet handle - which everyone is likely to have - will work with the shaft extractor. Works nicely, but pricey for what it is!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I got this item today and pulled my first graphite shaft with no problems at all. It is built solid and works like a charm. I highly reccommend it for anyone that does low volume club work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for me needs I don't have a bench or a vice grip, but I had an idea that would allow me to use this. I used a few C-clamps to tighten it down and it did the trick. I just removed a set of TT R300 tapers flawlessly. Great purchase. I am sure it would be a breeze on a vice. All the parts are very solid also.

The piece that puts pressure against the head (335/350/370)for removal is showing signs of wear. Can that piece be ordered seperatly? Tks

Asked by: derf902
We do have a few of these replacement pieces here at GolfWorks USA. The code is UCMVGSRSW. GolfWorks Canada would not have this part available but you should be able to order it through them and they would have it shipped up from the US.

Hi Does anyone have an instruction manual as to how this Shaft Extractor works. I have looked online and cannot find it anywhere or any youtube videos I was given one and do not want to use it until I understand how it works Cheers Aussie

Asked by: AussieGolfer
Here is the link for the instructions for Clubmaker's Vise and how the Shaft Extractor works with this vise. Scroll down and you will see the extractor mounted in the vise. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/UCMV.pdf If you do not have our vise this extractor can be harder to use and you would be better off to have Value Shaft Extractor (GW112) which will work with a normal vise. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/GW1112.pdf

I bought this and it works great however it is difficult to put the shaft between the two sides and slide into my vise without them falling apart. I see they have slots on the sides. Is there a way to set the brackets in place in the vise to make easier

Asked by: Tb44
This shaft puller is designed to work with a vise (UCMV) that we sell that has pieces for the slots to fit over. We do offer another shaft puller (GW1112) like this one that is designed to work with a standard vise. If you have not had this puller to long it might be worth a call to our Customer Service Department and possibly they can work with you on a swap for this other puller. http://www.golfworks.com/value-shaft-extractor/p/GW1112/

How does the "Value Shaft Extractor" differ from the "Clubmakers Vise Graphite Shaft Extractor" ?

Asked by: abprice
The Clubmaker's Vise Extractor is designed to mount into the Clubmaker's Vise that we sell. The Value Shaft Extractor will work and mount into any vise. Other then that they work the same.
