Collared Golf Club Ferrules

Collared Ferrules are designed specifically for use with graphite golf shafts. The ferrule collar fits into the club head's hosel to cushion the contact point between the shaft and hosel.

Collared Golf Club Ferrules is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice ferrule I buy these for shafting irons. The 370 are very snug on 370 shafts so they work very well on 355 tapers. Minimal turning if any is required due to size of the ferrules and the collar makes for perfect alignment without having to readjust loft and lie in most cases.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ferrules The ferrules would not fit the shafts that I purchased at the same time. I had to drill out the inner diameters and in so doing, scuffed up the outer surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway Apex Replacement I broke the Recoil Shaft in my Apex CF 16 #6 Iron. Replaced it using the 3/4" Ferrule and it fit perfect.

Which ferrule would fit the Callaway Razr X Black driver? Thanks!

Asked by: GT1
The Razr X Black Driver came originally with a .350 tip shaft. The BB0003 1/4" or the BB0007 1/2" would work. You just need to decide what length you prefer, the 1/4" or the 1/2".

Reshafting Taylormade RSI 1 heads with True Temper XP 105 steel stiff shafts . Do I need a collared ferrule ? If so,  any suggestions which one will work ?  Thanks.

Asked by: Lawrence
You can use a collared ferrule like the BB0008 or you can use a non collared ferrule like the 52PI which looks similar to the stock ferrule Taylor Made used on these irons.

What are the outside diameters of the largest diameter on the ferrule & the outside diameter of the collar? Thanks, Jeff

Asked by: Jeff
At this link scroll down the page to the specification box and you will see all the specifications including outside diameter measurement of the ferrules. The outside diameter measurement of the collars themselves is .366" for the .335" wood ferrules and .400" for the .370" iron ferrules.
