How do I remove pinned on iron heads. You told me I could drill out the .355 tapers to .370's. The Hogan Magnums are pinned on. Already ordered the drill bits and want to be ready when GW delivers. Will there be holes in the housel's?

Asked by: slmealor
Most of the hosel pins are a 3/32" size so you will need a 3/32" punch. What I alway did was first heat the hosel with a propane torch right at the hosel pin. Don't get it to hot. Then use the punch to drive the pin through the hosel and out one side. You will have to position the club over a vise or something so that when you drive the pin it can come out of the hosel. Punch it all the way out or at least out far enough so that you grab it with a pair of vise grip pliers and pull and twist it the rest of the way out. When you reassemble with the new shafts you can put a piece of masking tape around the hosel to cover the holes and they will fill with epoxy. In house here at The GolfWorks we repin them using 3.32" aluminum welding rod.

looking for .335 drill bit for wood heads, found under drill bits DBH11/ having difficulty placing order

Asked by: hogan
The DBH11 is available for order online. Type in the search box on the GW home page DBH11. It will take you to the page listing all the drill bits. Scroll to bottom to identify ea drill bit. The DBH11 is the R HSS bit. You should be able to put it in your cart from there.

What drill bit is used for a .370 iron shaft?

Asked by: Tm53
3/8" is .375". A "U" bit size is .368. The Golfworks has a .370" Spiral Fluted Reamer(GW0115), if you are looking for a tool to ream out or clean out a hosel. Also, we have the U drill bit (XQU), or the 3/8" (IDS38).
