Trimming Instructions

FST 125 Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft, great price Put these shafts in Maltby TE forged iron heads and the feel and performance are excellent. Been playing DG S300 for 20 years. I pured these shafts myself and found them to be more consistent shaft-to-shaft than S300's. Tipped to s-flex they are a little softer than the S300, just a bit. However, they are far superior in transition to the downswing. Very smooth. No "dead spots". Very few stingers on mis-hits. If you're looking for a product that provides superior performance on the course, this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft Put these shafts with the Maltby TE fordged 4-PW. Trimmed the shafts X-flex plus .5 inch for XX stiff. They are super stable and ball flight is perfect. Been playing DG S300 for years and these are just as good with no loss of distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft for the money Bought these shafts to replace some factory ones in my Burner irons. Tipped them x to lower my trajectory a bit. Worked perfect. Great deal for the money.

I have a set of MacGregor Muirfield irons (from the '80s) that I would like to reshaft but I am not sure of the tip size, which is leaving me to guess at what shafts to get.  How would I find out this information?

Asked by: Aaron
The MacGregor Muirfield irons used a .355" taper tip shaft.

do you A Flex on this shaft?

Asked by: Aileen
No, FST does not make the Pro 125 Stepless steel shaft in an A flex. They do make the 115, 115 Stepless and FST 90 in an A/R flex. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0012 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0013 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FS0011

what is total length of this shaft? I have a customer that is 6' 7" and I don't want to butt extend unless you have tempered steel extenders that won't bend if I go 2" extension?

Asked by: Rick1945
The FST 125 S/X shaft has a raw length of 43"
