Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound Cord Grip Specifications

Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound Grip is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb non-slip grip. Freddy Couples plays bare handed because his dad couldn't afford a glove when Freddy was a young guy. I wore a glove and on hot days hand would sweat and glove would stretch and bunch up and it did also during rain. So I followed Freddy and wore no glove but all grips sucked until I found Decade Multi grip. Rain or shine this grip is true to me, no slippage regardless how wet this grip may become. This grip is by far superior to other grips and I have tried many over the years. I highly recommend this grip to all golfers that have difficulty hanging on to any club.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way Too Expensive Probably the best grip I've ever used. The problem is, the price and durability. I play 27 holes a week from mid April to mid October and can count on 1 season out of the grips. I have to replace the grips on the driver and wedges twice a season. $130 per re-grip is too expensive for me. I've found a similar product, without the half-cord, at a much better price and haven't noticed a degradation in the grips performance. I hope this review was helpful. Fairways & Greens!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Them! I live in Georgia and the heat and humidity always play a factor. I've played two rounds with them and they are unbelievable. I played the second round without a glove with no impact to my swing grip or game. Will by more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feel I have tried a lot of different grips over the years, golf pride being my favorite brand. I bought a club about 18 months ago with this grip and quickly realized I needed them on all my clubs. I think this style is the best balance between feel, feed back, and control. Even in wet conditions this grip offers plenty of grip. A real step forward in grip construction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money By far the best grip I have used. When it is hot and the glove gets moist you dont loose your grip. The bottom half is easy on the hand and the feedback is fantastic. You know where you hit the ball on the club face. Plus these will last quite a long time.

I need to replace the grip of my driver

Asked by: Rajan
You could use any of these Decade Multi-Compound Golf Pride grips. To help you with more information about your current grip you have and what grip size you need. You could also tell me what model driver you have.

Are they available in a midsize? and will the price change.

Asked by: Eric
Here is the link for the Decade Multi-Compound grips that are available in mid size. https://www.golfworks.com/golf-pride-new-decade-multi-compound-midsize-grips/p/GP0036/ The colors that are showing backordered are due in soon. Red/Black should be in first of next week. Black/White the week of July 10th and likely the same for the Black/Blue.

Has Golf Pride ever produced a Midsize NDMC in Green/black? Have found a set but wanted to make sure they are not counterfeit. Thank you.

Asked by: MLS8004
Golf Pride made the Decade Multi Compound in black/dark green standard size but not a mid size. They also offer the new Decade Multi Compound Plus 4 in a black/light green in standard size but not mid size.

I got a new Callaway driver with a GP New Decade Multi Compound grip. Played 3 rounds, was hitting the ball very straight. Changed to a GP CP2 standard grip to match my other grips, started hooking the ball. Would the larger CP 2 grip cause this?

Asked by: Bob
The fact that the CP2 is larger would not in and of itself cause you to start hooking the ball, but if something changes the feel of the club, like a new grip, it may cause some inconsistency. Would advise letting a qualified PGA teaching professional take a look. Club path and face angle at impact are the causes of all directional problems and the professional should be able to detect he cause of your new found hook.

You show that there is a .580 core black/red option without the rib, however it's not an option to purchase.   As my wedges require the smaller core grips to fit properly, I'm wondering,  will you will be selling them again in the future?

Asked by: Michael
Apologize for the confusion. The .580 core black / red rib option is no longer available from Golf Pride and we have no remaining stock. It has been removed from the website. The .600 core should work. You may need to build up the shaft a wrap or two if it is that small, but a .600 grip will work on the .580 butt shaft.

What does RND and Rib mean?

Asked by: Mike
A ribbed grip has a raised ridge running down the back side of the grip that fits into the finger tips when you grip the club. It serves as a reminder to get your hands on in the same position every time when you grip the club. A round grip is round in circumference and does not have this reminder rib. Manufactures like Ping and Callaway will use ribbed grips on their game improvement iron designs and round grips on the irons they design for the better player. There are good players such as Rory McIlory who use ribbed grips.
