Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound Cord Platinum Grip Specifications

Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound Platinum Grip is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grips! I purchase them for my daughter who really likes them. I have them on all my clubs except the putter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than OEM Grips I bought the Callaway GBB Epic driver and it came with the Golf Pride New Decade Platinum grip. It felt so good I regriped the rest of my clubs with the same grip minus the Callaway chevron at the end of the grip. I used a total of 3 strips of the double sided tape to make the grips 1/32" over standard as instructed by Golf Works. These grips feel as good as they look.

why are these 49.5g when the regualr is 46.5? why the difference

Asked by: andrew
More then likely because of the color of the grips. The dye colors used in grips can effect the grip weights.

What is the size of an mid size grip ? I like my grips to be 1/32 " over standard. If I ordered the standard grip for the Decade M-C Platinum Grip, how many wraps of the two sided tape would I need.

Asked by: Carlos
A Mid Size grip is + 1/16" larger or .960" measured at 2" down from the top edge of the grip cap. A + 1/32" grip measures .930" at 2" down from the top edge of the cap. How many build up wraps and depend on the butt diameter of the shafts you have an the thickness of the tape you are using. Our double sided grip tape will add approximately .014" per wrap. If you have a .600" butt diameter shaft and .600" core size grip you need to increase the size of the shaft by .030". So 2 strips of our double sided grip tape will add .028". You would need a third layer of grip tape because the grip manufactures the thickness of the tape into the finished size of the grip.

I have a G-30 stiff shaft, which is recommended? I'm a slicer:(

Asked by: Jack
If you are asking which size grip, standard or mid size you should use you want to size that by checking your grip and how your hands are fitting on the club. Grip one of your current clubs and then remove your lower hand and look at the top hand grip. If your middle 2 fingers are just touching the pad of your hand and the grip pressure is comfortable the grip size would be correct. If your fingers are digging into your palm the grip size is to small and if there is a gap between your fingers and palm the grip size is to large. Most golf retailers will have grip sizing samples in their stores. It could be a good idea to stop into a store and have your grip size checked.

We do not stock the Gry/Scarlett Decade Multi-Compound Platinum grip. Golf Pride does show it on their web site. You would need to check with GolfWorks Canada to see if we would be able to special order this grip for you.
