I'm a 67 year old single digit handicap which grip would recommend CP2PRO OR NIION

Asked by: Gsammy
Either one could work fine. The Niion grips (GP0061) have not proven to be that popular for Golf Pride and they are being discontinued by Golf Pride. The CP2 Pro and CP2 Wrap grips have been more popular then the Niion grips.

Is this grip available in blue with yellow accents? (In other words the opposite of the Yellow grip displayed).

Asked by: Capt Don
Initially there was a Blue grip with yellow accents but it is no longer available. These grips have been discontinued by Golf Pride and the Green/White are the only ones we have left in stock.

Is the blue/yellow grip mostly blue with yellow highlights or is it like the one in the photo here? (Mostly yellow)

Asked by: Matt H
It is just as it is pictured. Mostly yellow with blue highlights. There was a Blue grip with yellow highlights but it is sold out and these grips are being discontinued.

I had grips that were .580 titliest manufactured, are the .600 niion thicker? Also if I do 6 wraps of masking tape and 1 grip tape for midsize, wouldn't that make the butt end of the club heavier? I am trying to keep between standard and midsize. Help?

Asked by: 2putt
This was very helpful information. I purchase from golfworks instead of the 2" masking tape the 3/4" masking tape. Will this be the same as spiraling 3 wraps of 3/4 tape up the shaft to the butt with each wrap with the equivalent of .005 each and 1 wrap of grip tape? Niion grip .600 desired grip size between standard and midsize. I understand the GolfWorks chart. Should spiraling be tight or have gaps?

Should I apply build up tape on the shaft first, and than apply the grip tape with solvent for build up of grip size from standard to midsize?

Asked by: 2putt
Build up tape is applied first then the double sided grip tape. To create a mid size grip you will need to use 6 layers of masking tape like our BU2 2" build up tape plus the double sided grip tape.

I purchased the green and white Niion grips and wanted to know should I install the grips with the logo up on top of the shaft in the address position or rolled down on the bottom or back of the shaft ? Double tape, to make from standard to midsize?

Asked by: 2putt
Whether you install them with the logo on top or on the back is your choice. Player's who install the logo on the back prefer not to see the Golf Pride name when they look down at address. If you want to make them mid size you will need to use 6 layers of masking tape like our BU2 tape, plus the double side tape which goes over the masking tape.
