Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Golf Grip Specifications

Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Golf Grips is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grip - Ever I have been using these grips since they have come out. By far the best grips I have used. Very tacky, if they pick up grit, sand, etc. wipe them with a wet towel and dry and they are as tacky as the day I put them on. I play about 120 rounds of golf/year. I have had the set on my current clubs since the 2G was introduced over two years and they are not worn out and still tacky after a wipe. I prefer the red grips. I know of 5 people that changed their grips after feeling the ones on my clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tackiness and Wear I have used these grips since they first came out. In my opinion they are the best grip I have ever had and I have been playing golf for over 52 years. They stay tacky, but due to that they do pick up dirt, so it is good to keep a damp cloth or part of a towel wet to wipe them off. Once wiped off and dried they are as tacky as the first day they were put on. They also last a long time, I have had mine over a year with no noticeable wear and I play about 10 rounds a month. Many of my friends and acquaintances have replaced theirs with the Tour Wrap G2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tour Wrap 2G I've been looking a long time for a grip that I liked and now I have. I first saw these at a golf expo and when I felt the tackiness of the grip, I had to have them. I like the way the grip just molds to your hands and seems to lie across your fingers perfectly. The feel of the grip is soft and seems to absorb any unwanted vibrations. I used to play the multi compounds and those felt harsh and slipped in my hands at impact. Keep in mind that feel is a subjective thing, give these a shot and you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable Wrap Super sticky and very shinny plus comfortable. If you like a wrap style this is a very good choice. Like most wraps the top end is a bit muted but the right hand lower portion gives you the feedback needed to work the ball, which is the way it should be. This compound is extremely sticky and is going to require a wipe down after each swing, they really collect dirt and oils from your hands on just one contact. As for the reviewer that stated "only good when clean", you're right but thats true of every grip especially a very sticky grip like these. A wet towel wipe down after each swing bring them back to super sticky instantly. Watch any pro Caddy and they wipe down and clean every club grip before it goes back in the bag, some even carry a squirt bottle, a good habit for all of us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Golf Pride 2G greatness I have used the white 2G grips for two years now. I tried the el cheapo itomics with no success they got dirty in seconds and did not like feel. Saw these coming out and at low price. I hated the old tour wrap grips from years ago but loved the white of the new and gave em a shot. They are great. It helps to wipe after every swing with a damp frogger towel but is not necessary. I have some right forearm soreness and it is not gone but better using 2g vs NDMC that i used to use at four times the price. I love the tacky feel, the look, the durability as i am into my 2nd season. Overall a bargain. But re those saying no feel or only good for those with no grip or high hdcp? get a life. I am only a 12 hdcp but a good golfer and i have no issue having enough feel to execute great shots without the harshness the NDMC gave. I give em 5 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rough on the hands.. I have been using these grips for over a year. I had on and off periods with them. They are noticeably heavier then other grips, and they don't provide much feel from the club. I noticed right after getting them that all the feel I had was gone. I had to work with them to get used to it. They also chew my hands up pretty bad to. Maybe I just have sensitive skin. Compared to other grips and how long these will last, its a good deal for the price. I wont be using them again once I swap them out this season. If feel is important, you may not like these.

are the .600 size grips used for woods and the .580 size for irons/

Asked by: bob
No. The .600 and the .580 designate the core size of the grips. Either can be used o woods or irons. For standard grip sizing, you would want to match the core size of the grip with the butt diameter of the shaft. Example: A .600 core grip on a .600 butt diameter shaft would give you a men's standard grip size. If you put a .580 core size on a .580 butt diameter you also will get a Men's standard grip size. If you put a .580 core size on a .600 butt diameter shaft you will get a 1/64" Men's oversize grip size.

What does the 58g Midsize measurement mean?

Asked by: Lou6769
Mid Size means it is 1/16" larger in diameter then a standard size grip. A standard size grip diameter measures .900" and a mid size measures .960". 58 grams is the weight of the shaft.

What size grip should I use for my driver 580 or 600

Asked by: Larrya32
.580" core size grips are used on .580" butt diameter shafts to create a standard size. .600" core size grips are used on .600" butt diameter shafts to create a standard size. Most shafts these days have a .600" butt diameter so a .600" core size grip should create that for you. The Tour Wrap 2G is offered in Undersize (.885"), Standard Size (.900"), Mid Size (.960") and Jumbo (1.020") to properly fit your hand size and how you grip the club.
