Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Seller This is the best seller in my shoppe. The tacky feel, the thickness of the grip gives the customer a great first impression and consistent long wear has made this a great repeat item, as well as the best "word of mouth" requested grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will be putting them on all my clubs Recently installed them on my wife's clubs and I happened to have one left over. Decided to put it on my 5-wood and was stunned with the results. Couldn't believe the distance and control. Just ordered enough to re-grip all my clubs.

How do I know what size grips I need how do I tell shaft size

Asked by: Poolman
Most all golf retail stores have grip sizing samples in their stores so you can be fitted for the correct grip size. If you have golf retailer in your area it can be a good idea to stop in and have your grip size checked. The correct way to check a grip size is to use a club and take you normal grip the way you would always grip a club. Remove the bottom hand and check the middle 2 fingers of you top hand. It they are just touching the pad of you thumb and you can maintain a comfortable grip pressure the size fits you correctly. If you middle 2 fingers dig into the pad of your thumb the grip size is to small and if there is a gap between your middle 2 fingers and pad of your thumb the grip size is to large. Being able to use the grip sizing samples to identify how much to small or to big helps get you in the correct size.

I have a set of Tommy Armour clubs with the Titanium Shaft designed by Aloila. The butt of the shaft is so big around I can't find a grip that will go over it. I mean, it's really impossible to get the grip to start. Does some one have a bigger size?

Asked by: Al28
The largest rip diamter available at the Golfworks would be the .600 core. We need to know the outside diamater of the shaft to know exactly what grip core size wold be needed. some larger grip core diamters may be able to be special ordered, but agan, we need to know the outside diamter of the shaft. If the outside dimater of the shaft is .620 for example, you should still be able to use the .600. If you install a .600 core diamter grip on a .620 diamter shaft, the size of the grip would be 1/64" oversize.
