The majority of shafts these days are a .600" butt diameter but Adams has used some shafts with butt diameters larger then .600", even in the .620" range. The .580" and .600" core size grips will still go on these shafts but they do install a little harder. I always recommend using more solvent then not enough and if you can warm the grip with a heat gun or heating pad before you install it they will go on a little easier. If you are having trouble getting the grip started over the end of the shaft you may need a BBGIT grip installation tool to help you.
