Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Grip is hard to beat for feel This is one of my favorite grips. Especially for my irons. If you pay attention you will see these used on the tours as well. A little softer than the GP multi compound but much tackier. Also a very long lasting grip.

I have a Taylormade Burner driver. What is the size of grip from the factory. The grip is the original grip. Thanks

Asked by: KL1968
Really would need the exact year of the model you have. Taylor Made did several versions of a Burner Driver over the years. If your driver is the Bruner Bubble from the late 1990's, the core size of the grip would have to be .810. If it is any other Burner driver, the size would be in the .600-.620 range, so most standard grips with a .600 core grip will work.

I need these at/close to -1/64 installed on a .600 butt. How much tape?

Asked by: rafa51
If you just installed these grips on the .600" butt diameter shaft you would have a men's grip size of -1/32" so you need a .015" increase with build up tape. Actually if you installed these using 2 layers of double sized grip tape (DFTG2) you would be right at -1/64". The double sided grip tape measures in the .014" to .015" thickness range. Our GW1064 Build up tape measures .013" and 1 layer would get you very close to -1/64". The standard build up tape (BU2) measures .010" and will not get you as close.

What is the installed size of these undersized grips?  I am looking for a -1/64 size & not 1/32.  If these are not, can you recommend another grip that is undersized made by Golf Pride?

Asked by: golfinnut
It is a .580 core grip, so installed on a .580 core shaft the size should be very close to -1/64". If you install it on a larger butt diameter shaft, it will be larger.
