Grafalloy Rocket Shaft Specifications

Grafalloy Rocket Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an amazing shaft! I bought this yesterday and put it on an older but well-respected-in-its-day Adams head. This thing is an absolute bomb. My shots explode off the tee with low to medium trajectory and I am getting more distance. No accuracy issues whatsoever. I have only had this out to the range once, and the results are really quite obvious. No subtleties here. I think I am going to love this driver with this shaft. Highly recommended.

I have a Talyor Made Jet Speed Driver. Can this shaft be fitted to that driver and if so, how? Thanks

Asked by: Doug
Yes this shaft could be installed into the Jet Speed driver using the BB9065 shaft adaptor. The stock Jet Speed adaptor uses a .350" tip diameter shaft and the BB9065 shaft adaptor uses a .335" tip diameter shaft and will fit the Jet Speed driver. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-universal-taylormade-shaft-adaptor/p/BB9065/

Is this the shaft that replaced the boost shaft

Asked by: Joe
The Rocket is very similar to Boost. The Rocket is slightly lighter and has one degree less torque than the Boost. Both have a low bend point with a soft tip stiffness. I would assume they would play very similar.

what are grafalloys prolite 35 hl tip trim specs for callaways warbirds  4wood 7wood

Asked by: free
You would tip trim 3/4" from the tip for the 4 wood and 1" from the tip for the 7 wood. Grafalloy does not make any adjustments for the bore through for this shaft but I personally would consider tip trimming 1.2" less then the recommended amount because of the bore through.

what is the term 2d3m 3d3m mean in the specs

Asked by: tracks
The first number represents the shaft flex. 1= L flex 2= A or Senior flex 3= R flex 4=S flex 5=X flex The first letter is the shaft weight catagory. D= distance or the lightest weight graphite and steel shaft. Lighter weights shafts can create more distance C= Control or the heaviest weight graphite shaft steel shaft. Heavier weight can create more control. B= Both or the mid weight range graphite and steel shafts which can be good for both distance and control The second number is the bend point and tip stiffness of the shaft. 1= Lower trajectory which would be high bend point and firm or stiff tip shafts 2= Medium trajectory which would be mid bend point and medium tip stiff tip shafts. 3= High trajectory which would be low bend point soft tip stiff tip shaft. With these 3 catagories there can be slight variations in the bend point and tip stiffness such as a mid/high bend point or mid low tip stiffness that would be factored in. The second letter is for shot correction. S= Slice or shafts that could help in correcting a slice. M= None or no shot correction factor is needed. H= Hook or shafts that could help in correction a hook.
