Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Graphite Design Tour AD DI I bought the DI 5 stiff and I am blown away. I have always loved GD shafts for the smooth feel but now I got the distance and trajectory I have always wanted. I really can't believe how hard this thing kicks even when swinging smoothly. Truly the best shaft I have ever had. I put it into a R9 supertri by the way. High ball flight without balooning and some roll too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DI is Awesome! I recently bought the DI-6 Sitff after seeing my buddy's improvement in his R9 Dirver with this shaft. All I can say is explosive! I gained 10-15 yds and it is on a rope straight. Great Shaft for sure.

iam interested in a graphite design shaft swing about 95 mph. aim looking for higher ball flight and easier to draw the ball with a driver. I have a Epic driver .

Asked by: owen
The Tour AD DI shoudl help with the higher ball flight and possibly the draw as well. On Graphite Designs site your 95 mph puts you into the SR flex which falls between an R and S flex. Graphite Design rates the R1 flex from 86 to 95 mph, SR from 92 to 98 mph and S flex from 96 to 105 mph.

I have a swing speed of 115 mph. Is the AD DI 6X stiff and heavy enough for me?

Asked by: Dmancine9
If you have a smooth tempo the 60 gram X flex could work. If your swing is a little more aggressive the 70 gram (GD0024) could be a better choice.

Orange 6 Series SR Flex? What does SR mean??? Thanks

Asked by: Ron Y
Graphite Design calls it a Stiff Regular. It is stiffer then the stock R flex and a little more flexible then the stock S flex.

.350"tip High Traj. who makes it

Asked by: andy
The only .350" tip size wood shafts we have are the Aldila NV 65 (1205W35) and the Aldila NVS 65 (AL202202). The NVS is a mid trajectory shaft and the NV a low/mid. I am not aware of anyone making a .350" tip high trajectory shaft these days. You would need to shim a .335" tip size shaft.

I been playing DI 6 SR, my usual short pattern fade. I use DI 6S on my 3 wood. My 3 wood goes longer than my Driver. If I use DI 5 S will it help my distance? Titleist 917 9.5deg head

Asked by: Fiaz
Using the lighter weight shaft could help you create more swingspeed and create more distance. When someone is hitting their 3 wood further then their driver it can be a sign that they do not have enough loft on their driver. You might try a driver with 10.5 degrees loft to see if that might work better for you.

Do you tip the Shaft before installing into the adapter then cut butt end to the length you desire ?

Asked by: Craig
We follow the shaft manufactures recommended tip trimming without making any changes for the shaft adaptor. The major club manufactures have told us that they do not make trimming adjustments for the shaft adaptors.
