Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Graphite Design Tour AD DI I bought the DI 5 stiff and I am blown away. I have always loved GD shafts for the smooth feel but now I got the distance and trajectory I have always wanted. I really can't believe how hard this thing kicks even when swinging smoothly. Truly the best shaft I have ever had. I put it into a R9 supertri by the way. High ball flight without balooning and some roll too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DI is Awesome! I recently bought the DI-6 Sitff after seeing my buddy's improvement in his R9 Dirver with this shaft. All I can say is explosive! I gained 10-15 yds and it is on a rope straight. Great Shaft for sure.

Looking for a shaft for my swing speed of 110-115. Would like a Med to high Launch with a Draw Bias.

Asked by: jdgolfer1960
The Tour AD DI 60 (GD0023) or 70 (GD0024) in an X flex could both possibly work. The 60 is designed for a high trajectory and the 70 for a mid/high trajectory. There are not really any shafts that I am aware of that are advertised as draw bias these days but in the past companies like UST have advertised high balance points shafts as being draw bias. Most of the newer wood shafts added to the market in the last few years are high balance point shafts. The Aldila Rogue Black 60 & 70 (AL0048) is another possibility. It is designed for a mid/high trajectory.

I currently have the ad di 6s in my driver and would want the matching shaft for my 3 wood. Is it the same ad di 6s just in a different length or do i bump up to the 7s?

Asked by: tom
You can use the same AD DI 60 gram shaft in your 3 wood. You would just follow the recommended trimming instruction for a 3 wood which tells you to tip trim 1/2". You would then butt cut the installed shaft for you 3 wood length. Some players like a little heavier weight shaft in their fairway woods to give them a little more control and will move up to a 70 gram weight shaft. It really becomes more of a player preference. The DI 60 is designed to produce a high ball flight and the DI 70 a mid/high ball flight. That is also something to consider as to which one will work best for you in your 3 wood.
