Rated 5 out of 5 by from The answer I have played several different shafts on the drivers I've owned though the years always hoping that the next one would "the answer". A year ago I started using the DS-6+ stiff shaft and I have not looked back! This shaft is awesome, you don't have to wonder what you ball flight is going to look like because it is so consistant. Oh and if you want that extra yardage we all seek from time to time it will be there without have to come out of your shoes to get it. FAIRWAYS BABY!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good control This is one of the easiest stiff shafts which I used. The distance is good on 3 wood Magregor. Confidence is good with the shaft. good directional behaviour, not afraid on a windy day and water all along the holes, to use on long holes. it seems to sort of catapault the ball a long way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still a great shaft First tried the YS-6+ at a Titleist driver fitting a couple of years ago (and even then it was an old shaft) but I still haven't found another shaft that performs as well, including a number of $300 premium shafts. Extremely smooth, unbelievable value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YS 6+ There are certainly newer and much more expensive shafts out there, but for my money it is still very difficult to beat the YS6+. The feel is flawless and as the "engine" of the driver it more than holds its own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft at a Great Price! The stiff definitely plays a little softer than most stiff flex shafts...exactly what I was looking for, since I am not as young as I used to be. Shot dispersion is tighter than some other shafts I have tried.

Yes we can install the shaft into a shaft adapter for the R15 driver. TM0023 is the shaft adapter you will need for the R15 driver.

Yes the YS6 can be installed into the Ping G25 driver. The G25 driver does use a .335" tip diameter shaft.

Can I get this made for a Adams Speedline tech ?

Asked by: flowen owens
We do not have a shaft adaptor for the Adams Speedline Tech driver. You would have to have the existing shaft adapter reshafted with this shaft. You could send the shaft with the adapter installed and we could reshaft it for you with this shaft.

I play an X-stiff Fuji 665 in driver and Stiff Fuji motore 8.0 in FW woods. I have heard great things about these shafts. Im thinking X-stiff ys-6+ in driver and X-stiff ys-7+ in fw's. Ive read these play a little softer than stated flex is that true?

Asked by: Caleb
I can tell you that the YS6+ and YS7+ shafts do test more flexible then normal X flexes. These shafts are designed to play to their listed flex when installed into a Bore Through Wood head. Titleist used this shaft as a stock shaft in their 905 Series drivers. If you use this shaft you need to make sure to follow the trimming instructions. If you install it into a non bore through design without tip trimming per the instructions it will play at least a full flex more flexible. These shafts have a 4" parallel tip section so you do have room to do some additional tip trimming to make it play a little stiffer. I have personally played this shaft in my driver for a few years now and like it very much.
