Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great For the Price I bought some of these grips because I use a ten finger grip and natural golf swing and wanted to see how changing the grips would help without spending a ton of money. I can say that the style works great for me. I have so much better feel than before. They would have been rated at five stars but in no time flat the white logos came out and Ive had to already replace one because the butt of the grip came out leaving a big hole in the end. But for the price I just replaced with with another one and all is good. So buy a coulpe of extra just in case. With that being said, for the price you cant beat it, and my game has realy showed the differents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New type grips I replaced 2 grips. Trying to get use to the feeling of the thickness of the the right hand. So far the new grips feel good. Need more time to adjust to look and feel to the new type grips. Grip material feels good to the touch. I'm happy with grips, so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where have you been all my life? Been having grip issues my entire golf career-I have large hands with long fingers. I tried about every size and brand grip on the market with little success. Ordered a couple grips to test side by side with my regular Golf Prides. After one round I gripped the whole set and will never use regular tapered grips again! So natural feeling - consistency and touch is much improved. I also had a terrible tendency to shank at least a couple times a round and that seems to have disappeared as well......they still look a little weird to me, but the results speak for themselves!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from non taper oversize I'm a long time club builder and have experimented with many different things in the process of building golf clubs. I have come through the area of wooden head drivers and steel shafts to the present day of the modern composites and graphite. I have now reached the age of having arthritic hands and felt the need to try the non taper oversize grips. I have found this grip promotes better control and less pain associated with grip pressure. For this reasoning I recommend this grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non-tapered Grips I had always used the traditional tapered grip, but as I have gotten older arthritis in my hands made it tougher to hold onto the club. These non-tapered grips are great. I recommend them to everyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Use lots of Tape Grips required 4 additional wraps of tape to keep from twisting, all were loose as the summer got hotter, great feel, but disappointed that I had to regrip twice.

What is the finished diameter of the grip and how many wraps of tape are required to achieve that diameter?

Asked by: JackP
The G1NTM is +3/64" oversize which would measure approximately .947". If you were installing a .600" core size grip on a .600" butt diameter shaft you would need to use 5 build up wraps of our BU2 Build Up tape or equivalent plus the one layer of double sided grip size to get to +3/64". Keep in mind if you are wanting to create this size with a standard grip that both the standard grip and shaft taper and get smaller under the bottom hand. You will need to add more tape to the bottom part of the grip to get the grip so that is does not taper. How much more tape would vary depending on what shafts you have. You would basically need to create a finished size of .647" for the full length of the shaft before installing a regular tapered grip.
