What is the swing speed of KBS Tour 90 Iron Shaft in R Flex.

Asked by: Danosr
With irons we tend to reference carry distance a little more often to determine shaft flex. We reference a 7 iron from 150 yards for an R flex, 8 iron from 150 yards for S flex and 6 iron from 150 for A or Senior flex.

I have UST recoil460 F2 in irons 5-G. Would Tour90 .355 R 9iron shaft in S wedge give similiar playability?

Asked by: T man
The Recoil 460 is a high trajectory shaft and the KBS Tour 90 is a mid/high trajectory. The change of weight will be the most noticeable difference but many players prefer a heavier shaft in their sandwedge. It seems to create better feel for especially the shorter shots around the green. The 9 iron shaft in the sandwedge should could work well.

Is there a .370 taper tip kbs tour 90 or does taper come in .355 only?

Asked by: Golfwil319
.370" tip diameter shafts are always parallel tips, there are not .370" taper tip shafts. The KBS Tour 90 comes in .355" taper tip (FS0023) and .370" parallel tip (FS0024).

RSI 1 shafts are 370 parallel and want to put taper in these clubs. What are the difference? I use reg. shafts kbs tour 90 in my present set and want to put these shafts in the rsi1. Will they be ok?

Asked by: Golfwil319
If you are installing .355" taper tip shafts into a .370" hosel bore you will need to use a Shim to make the shafts properly fit the hosel bore. Our SHIMT works well for this assembly. In the case of the KBS Tour 90 shafts the .355" taper tip are a constant weight shaft which means the shafts all have the same weight even though they get shorter in length. With a .370" parallel tip the shafts will get lighter as they get shorter in length because of how they have to be trimmed for each iron. The differences are very minor in these two shafts.

I have TM RSI TP irons w KBS S Tour by fst in them, I luv`m. I`m tryin 2 find a 3 iron 2 match, but cant find 1 w a KBS shaft. Is that the 90 n my irons? thx

Asked by: jas
Taylor Made listed the stock shaft as the KBS Tour (FS0018) in the RSi TP irons. The Tour 90 would actually have Tour 90 on the shaft band. http://www.golfworks.com/kbs-tour-taper-tip-steel-iron-shafts/p/FS0018/

i'm resifting my ping eye 2 black dot SW. I'd like the shaft to match my titlest irons which are kbs tour 90's stiff. the ping guide says the original shaft was tappered, .355. do i have a compatibility problem with the kbs shafts?

Asked by: Chris
You would use the FS0023 Tour 90 .355" taper tip shaft and you will be fine. The taper tip and parallel tip Tour 90 shafts match up well. Order the shaft listed for the Wedge in the flex that you need. http://www.golfworks.com/kbs-tour-90-taper-tip-steel-iron-shafts/p/FS0023/

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOUR-V 100R SHAFT AND A TOUR SHAFT WITH S+ ON CORNER OF THE LABEL?

Asked by: BRIAN
The Tour V (FS0036) R flex weights 100 grams and is designed to produce a mid ball flight with less spin then the Tour S+. The Tour S+ (FS0018) is 125 grams and designed for a mid ball flight.
