Can you tell me how much I would need to tip an R shaft to get the same tip stiffness/feel as an S flex? Set of irons has Tour 90 S and one wedge (Gap) has a Tour 110 S. Feels a little too stiff for me. Thanks.

Asked by: G66E
You will need to trim 1.5" more from the R flex Tour 90 to get it into the frequency range of the Tour 90 S flex.

I'm currently using the 105 true temper shaft and would like a shaft that will lower my trajectory Would this shaft the KBS tour do this in my Mizuno irons I have the MP Hp irons

Asked by: Matt
Other then the Tour 90 being a little lighter in weight you might not see much difference in trajectory with these two shafts. They are both listed as mid/high trajecotory shafts which is normal for lighter weight steel shafts. The KBS Tour 105 (FS0041) tests stiffer then the XP105 and that could give you a lower ball flight. You will need the .355" taper tip shafts for the Mizuno MP HP irons.

What KBS wedge shaft would compliment the Tour 90 stiff shaft? I have them in my irons. I would like to maybe put KBS in all my wedges.

Asked by: Abedul
You might consider putting the Tour 90 S flex in your wedges as well. There is nothing wrong with doing this. All the KBS wedge shafts are going to be heavier in weight then the Tour 90. The KBS Hi Rev 2.0 Wedge (FS0039) S flex weights 125 grams and is designed to create a mid trajectory and increase the spin. The 610 Wedge (FS0040) is designed as a low/mid trajectory which is suppose to create a penetrating ball flight and controlled spin. The S flex weights 120 grams.

I have some Taylor made RAC irons with FCM 6.0 Rifle shafts. The 5 and 6 iron shafts broke. What would be a good replacement shaft?

Asked by: Fred1961
The FCM Rifle 6.0 shafts are available (RP0009I). You would have to use a SHIMT to properly install the .355" taper tip shaft into the Taylor Made RAC irons. The KBS Tour 90 would not be a good replacement for the Rifle shaft. It is a lighter weight shaft designed to produce a mid/high trajectory where the Rifle is designed to produce a low trajectory. The KBS C-Taper (FS0027) S flex would be the closest KBS shaft to the Rifle 6.0 flex. A second choice in the KBS shafts would be the KBS Tour (FS0019) S flex.

What is your best replacement shaft for the Rockrtfuel steel 85gr stiff iron shaft

Asked by: Musket23
I would use either the KBS Tour 90 or the True Temper XP95 (TT0113). The Rocketfuel shaft is made by FST who also makes the KBS shafts.

Please help - I currently play MMBs with Rifle 5.5 flighted shafts. I've also used Project X PXI 6.0 and have hit these well. I was looking at the KBS Tour 90 S flex .370 but would like a few recommendations.

Asked by: Hacker
The KBS Tour 90 also plays more flexible then normal and that is not the case with the Rifle Flighted shafts.
