do they make an x flex wedge or do you trim the tip to get x?

Asked by: john
They offer the X flex in the Chrome shaft (FS0034) but not in the White and Black versions. https://www.golfworks.com/kbs-tour-chrome-wedge-shaft/p/FS0034/ They do have a wedge shaft in the sets of Tour Custom Black and White shafts and do have an X flex. The specs for this wedge shaft are 37.5" instead of the 37" in the wedge specific shafts. FS0028 Black and FS0029 White. These are .355" taper tip shafts and you do not tip trim these shafts. If you did they will not longer fit into the taper hosel bore. The shaft is .355" at the very tip and tapers out to approximately .370" where the shaft exists the top of the hosel.

I have KBS Tour (X-Stiff) shafts in my irons from 4 - PW and a KBS Tour (X-stiff) shaft in my 52 degree wedge. Would I be ok with putting KBS Tour Wedge (Stiff) shafts in my 56 and 60 degree wedges?

Asked by: Nittanypsu24
If you like a softer feel in your 56 and 60 degree wedges then this could be a good idea. If you use the 56 and 60 for full shots you might have a little bit of a trade off with trajectory using a more flexible shaft.

Hi, any idea for the KBS custom wedge shaft, I wanted to customise it with my name. Is it possible to do it by ordering from you guys?

Asked by: Dereky
These shafts are Custom only in that they are available in black or white. We cannot order these shafts with your name on them.

Can you use this shaft in scotty cameron newport 2 putter?

Asked by: cisdaner12
Yes, the Tour Custom shaft will work in a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter. However, I don't think you will see any benefits over a standard YST .355" putter shaft at much less expensive price. http://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-straight-taper-steel-putter-shafts/p/YST/

I just very recently purchased an iron set with KBS taper shafts 120. I think they're great. I'm seriously considering the shafts for all my wedges 60° 56°& 52° Is this consideration a wise one. Between a 13 & 9 handicap

Asked by: jody
Inserting the KBS Custom Wedge shafts into your wedges would be a good idea if you are happy with performance of your iron shafts. The feel of your irons would be duplicated in your wedges for a uniform set in feel and flex.

Can I use this shaft on my mizuno ez gap wedge?

Asked by: Rob1074
The JPX EZ irons that were sold with stock steel shafts installed have a bore diameter of .355". The KBS Tour wedge shafts will fit perfectly into these heads. The JPX EZ irons sold with stock graphite shafts have a .370" bore diameter. You would need to purchase a SHIM T to properly install a KBS Tour wedge shaft into these heads. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_SHIMT
