Rated 5 out of 5 by from Malby fan I just assembled the 24* with a stiff AXE xlaiber tour hybrid shaft last Friday. After playing 2 rounds this weekend my first impression is WOW. Not only does this head look incredible and unique it works very well from the tee, rough and fairway. The shape is unlike any hybrid I have seen before, looking like a cross between a small fairway wood head and a traditional hybrid. The ball gets up quickly and just soars. I cut the shaft at 39 inches and put a 10 gram weight in the head, sw came out at d3. Just perfect for me to fill the gap between my 5 iron and 5 wood. The head ,if anything may be too hot as it seems to go almost 5 wood distance. I may need to choke it down for those 190 to 200 yard shots. Great design on this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great club I've played this hybrid set a few times and am not disappointed. I was told these were great by a pro friend of mine. Worth every penny. Easiest club I've ever hit off the grass. Only wish there was a whole set, 2 through 9 would be nice! Thanks Ralph!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Point and shoot I built the 20* towards the end Of Last season for a senior golfer who's a very good buddy of mine.Hes a decent player but struggles With Longer irons. Last year he played 3 round with This in the Bag And the results in the few chances he had to hit it were hit and Miss. Will this year he's decided to use it more Situations and it's been absolutely point and shoot. Ball fight with Apollo lightweight steel Shaft is high and dead straight. Hes Hit Many greens from 170 ish with this club and can get a little extra or Take a little Off when needed. I will soon be ordering the 24* to fill in the gap between my 5 iron and 18* degree hybrid. Hopefully he'll want the 24 as he'll Cover the cost of mine. Haha. Great club highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creating A Club I'm not so much interested in the performance as I am the creation of a fine golf club. With input from the crew at Golf Works, I purchased the correct shaft, grip and glue packets. The glue set up as advertised, a simple procedure. Following the instructions, grip, shaft and club head were prepared and assembled in minimum time. Having the correct items on hand, such as a mixing plate, make cleanup a whiz. The club head itself is well designed and looks fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed ! Call me old school but some of us are still "Feel" players. I bought the #3-20 degree head and just matched it with a Maltby MPF Graphite Hybrid Shaft in Regular Flex and this may well be the finest hybrid I've ever hit. Ball screams off the face! Nice shallow face allows for quick, soaring flight off any surface. I just can't say enough about this but it's truly amazing ... thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They're sweet! I was lucky to get to try a prototype of the H3, shafted with a UST m6 reg. 41", d1-2 sw. Incredibly easy to hit. High trajectory but it goes. I had an Adams xdt19*, and this gives me an extra 5 yds. I've used it for a few rounds and have hit some shots I never could have pulled off with the Adams, or even the ke4tour hybrid I also had.

What Hybrid is closest to a Big Bertha OS Hybrid with a Std Recoil Regular Shaft? A KE4 ST-H, KE4Tour or another Hybrid in your arsenal and what shaft? TYIA!

Asked by: Bluelight
I would say the BB OS is more like our ST-H (MA0253) hybrid. UST does not make an aftermarket Recoil hybrid shaft but you could actually use the Recoil iron shaft in this hybrid. UST listed the Recoil 460 as the stock shaft in the OS hybrid. https://www.golfworks.com/ust-mamiya-recoil-450-460-es-graphite-iron-shafts/p/US0101/ This Club Pak with the Kuro Kage Hybrid graphite shaft makes a good combination https://www.golfworks.com/maltby-ke4-st-h-hyrbid-pak-mrc-kuro-kage-black-2nd-gen/p/PMA0253HBP/

Changing the weights in these clubs helps me how

Asked by: Michael
Being able to change the head weights helps maintain a swingweight when different shaft weights are installed or different shaft lengths are used and when different grip weights are used. It also helps to be able to find tune the swingweight to a given players feel. If you like to feel the clubhead more when you swing the club then you could add more weight to the clubhead to create this feel or lighten the head weight if you feel the clubhead feels to heavy.
