Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not all Arthritic Grips are the Same... For those customers that need an arthritic grip, this a great choice. The barrel of the grip, is slightly larger, in the right areas for challenged hands. Other brands I have installed, tend to be slightly thinner, in my experience, and require buildup to get the right fit. the Lamkin, usually, requires standard installation only. My first choice, now, is Lamkins for my special req. players.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much Better This grip is a godsend. I have big hands with arthritis badly in the knuckles of 3 fingers. This grip let me loosen the pressure and get away from using a baseball grip. I played 18 holes the other day and had absolutely no pain when I finished. It was just what I had hoped for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For Anyone I put them on all my clubs 15 years ago and have never replaced them. They give better traction than any other grip including corded, leather rubber or synthetic grips whoose grip come from little shallow indents. Lamkin Arthritic Grips have rough, outward pips that never get slick. The pips grip so well that I don't even need a glove (which in turn provides more feel).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great grip years ago I had trouble with my hands gripping the clubs, I found these at Golfworks, bought a few and regripped some clubs, they were so comfortable I purchased enough to regrip all my clubs. when ever I purchase a new club that is the first thing I change on the new club. several people have handled my golf clubs and asked where I got the grips, I tell them Golf Works.

Do they help with golf elbow?  Also do they come in different colors?

Asked by: Bob
Personally as someone who has had golfers or tennis elbow I would say an Arthritic grip will not make a difference. These are larger in diameter to help players with arthritis in their hands grip the club better. These grips do not dampen that much vibration. Grips like the Avon Chamois or Winn Grips that dampen more of the harsh feel to me would be more likely to help a little bit with golfers or tennis elbow.

I'm right-handed and have an arthritic right hand, left hand is ok, should this grip help with right hand low, it looks tapered. Thanks

Asked by: crkpoker
Yes this grip does taper. Maybe not quite as much as most standard grips. You could have the lower portion of the grip built up with build up tape during installation to take the taper out of the grip to better fit your lower hand.

How wide is the tape?

Asked by: Keith
The most commonly used grip tape is 2" wide. We also sell double sided grip tape that is 3/4" wide. Either can work well.
