Linen Ferrule Turning Belts

White linen belts are what golf club manufacturers use to turn down plastic ferrules without scratching the shaft or head. Turns down an oversized ferrule so it blends perfectly with the shaft and head.

How are these measured? I have an older belt sander and mine appear to be 1 X 15 in belts.

They are measured by the outside circumference. If you layed this belt flat and measured it's length at 15" then it should be a 1" x 30" belt and fits this type of belt sander.

Hello, I wanted to know if you can either get the linen ferrule buffing belt in a 2" x 48" size or at the very least pass along a source I can contact to order myself. I would be very appreciative for the help!

Asked by: Raymond
We no longer stock them because the manufacture required us to purchase them in large quantities which were much larger then what we were selling.

What is the average number of clubs per belt? I am looking to finish two sets of irons.

Asked by: bmar
It can vary, depending on the types of ferrule and how much has to be turned, but generally you should be able to do approximately 100 clubs before needing to change the belt.

Can it be used as a polisher. And if so what additional polishing cloths are available

Asked by: Tchris
These are belts designed to size and finish ferrules not polishing. At this link you can go through and see all the wheels that we offer for polishing and finishing clubheads.

I recently bought, and had to return, a couple of 1 x 30 linen belts from another retailer because they were actually a 1/2" short. Before I buy these from you can you verify that they are in fact 1 x 30?

Asked by: Gil44
I checked a few and they all measured right at 30".

Do you apply anything to the belt (ie. acetone, plastic polish, compound) or just use as is?      Thanks.

Asked by: section85
You just use the belt, nothing with it. When you are finished sizing with the belt then use Acetone to shine the ferrule.

got any 2"x48" linen belts?

Asked by: Mrgolfbum
No we have not offered these in about 5 years. Just not enough demand to justify carrying them these days.
