Maltby Heavy Duty Professional Lie Fitting Board

The Maltby Professional Lie Fitting Board is constructed of heavy duty, clear Lexan for strength and durability. The Maltby graphics are brilliantly displayed underneath the board and protected by polycarbonate lamination to ensure the logo and helpful alignment lines will last forever. The oversized dimensions of 14" wide by 23 3/4" in length make this the most durable and reliable lie fitting board available. All edges have been machined for safety and the ball position is located at the center of the oversized board to eliminate any chance of an avid golfer striking the edge of the board.

Maltby Heavy Duty Professional Lie Fitting Board is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lie board This board is a great item if you want to check lie angles on your irons. It is perfect thickness for durability and very well made. It's worth the price to get this knowing it will last! You do need the impact labels to put on sole in order to see impact point to determine flat or upright adjustment needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Important Feedback! Great swing tool to own. Was able to determine my irons were too upright causing me to pull my shots left. Once bent to the correct lie, they now fly much more on-line to the target.

Since fitting board is 1/4" thick, should golfer stand on a 1/4" surface in order to be at same height?

Asked by: Dave
Some fitters like to make sure the board is at the same height at the mat, if you are hitting off a mat. In some cases they have cut a piece out of the mat so that the board sits level with the top of the mat. If you are hitting off of a mat realize that your feet are standing on top of the "grass", they will not settle into the mat as they would settle into the grass. Because of this I personally do not worry about the thickness of the board when hitting from a mat. Also if I am personally checking my own irons I will have my golf shoes on and I feel the soft spike raise me just a little more on a mat.

Does the board have a little hole to set the ball in for the testing or is it all flat and you just lay the ball on the flat surface?

Asked by: Stanley
There is a small hole in the center of the board for the ball.
