Can this bend fairway woods? Thank you if so will purchase

Asked by: John
No the Iron/Hybrid bending machine (MA2017) will not bend fairway woods. The Premium Bending Machine (MA2019) will bend fairway woods assuming the fairway woods are designed to be adjusted.

Does this machine have an adaptor for putter bending?

Asked by: peperton
No the MA2017 machine does not come with an adapter plate to bend putters. This machine does not adjust down to a low enough loft to measure putter lofts.

Is there a chart or simple formula I can use to show a player how far off target a shot will be if the lie angle is incorrect? For example how far off target will a 56 degree wedge be if it is hit 100 yards with the lie angle 2 degrees upright?

Asked by: dgantzler
No. Too many variables. (Grip pressure, spin rate, etc.) It all depends on the way the club interacts with the turf which is unique on every shot. You can show them how the lie angle affects the interaction but you can't put a scientific number on it.

Can this device be calibrated?  Also what is the brass disc at the bottom of the protractor assembly for?

Asked by: Rick C
The MA2017 is calibrated from the factory and should not go out of calibration. The brass disc at the bottom of the protractor assembly is for raising or lowering the protractor assembly when necessary to accomodate different hosel lengths. If the hosel is long, like on many wedges, you may need to raise the protractor so the part that extends to rest against the shaft is clear of the hosel.
