Maltby L-Tech Graphite Iron/Hybrid Shafts is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Senior shafts. Installed A flex in some CG-16 irons. Gets ball up easily with same to more distance. Having small problem with direction and timing (can overswing) but these are problems with the indian, not the arrow. Installed easily, good quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great vakue I bought two as demos for fitting, already working out well as I will be reshafting one customers set with these and building a new custom set with them. Working great for slow to slow medium swingers.

My wife has a callaway diablo edge hybrid. What hybid shaft do I need in the Ltech 60

Asked by: Frank
With the LTech iron/hybrid shaft the L flex is the standard Ladies flex. The LL flex is a flex that is more flexible then the standard ladies flex for slower swingspeeds. The A flex is stiffer then a standard ladies flex or even considered a senior men's flex.

I would like to convert my R Flex Taylormade Rocket Ballz Stage 2 Driver, fairway and hybrids into junior clubs for my son of 9 years old (approx. 1.4m tall) . Is it workable to replace the shafts with the Maltby L-tech LL shafts? Which shaft should I buy

Asked by: AChan
The RBZ Stage 2 driver used a .350" tip size shaft. If this driver used the shaft adaptor you would need a new adaptor for the .335" tip size LTech shafts. The BB9065 adaptor fits the RBZ Stage 2 driver. If this driver did not use the shaft adaptor you would need to use the Universal Plastic Shim (BB9018) to size the .350" hosel bore down to a .335" shaft to properly install this shaft. The RBZ fairway woods used a .335" tip size shaft so there is no problem installing the LTech shafts. The RBZ hybrids used a .370" tip size shaft so the LTech Irons/Hybrid shaft will work fine. The LTech shafts are a very good choice and the LL flex would be my recommendation.

I ordered L-Tech Hybrid Pak #4. Trimming instruction for 4 iron on IR31 trim code is 0.5 inch. Should I trim the same for Hybrid #4?

Asked by: Varut
Yes if you are using the LTech shafts you would use the 4 iron trimming (1/2") for the Hybrid 4.

I want a regular flex. which shaft do I order?

Asked by: Gerry
The LTech shaft is not available in a regular flex. The LL is a softer then standard ladies flex. The L is a standard Ladies flex and the A is a Senior flex. You could look at our MPF Series Iron shaft in an R flex (MA0251) or for a hybrid the MPF Series Hybrid R flex (MA0250) shafts.

Which Maltby L-Tech shaft would you recommend for a Adams IPRO 21 deg. DHY Hybrid head? I'm a senior currently playing with regular shafted clubs.

Asked by: Rich
The L-Tech A flex would be the next step down from an R flex and unless you have lost a lot of clubhead speed or distance the A flex could work well.

what would be a good graphite shaft for irons for my swing speed (driver about 80 mph) i was thinking of putting a tricept f2 forged head on them.

Asked by: des
80 mph with the driver puts you into the low end of an R flex. Our MPF Series Iron (MA0251) could be a good choice. If you are interested in a lighter weight graphite shaft the AldaLite (AL0062) could be a good choice. The UST dhi iron (US0084) is another good option. All of these could work well with the Tricept F2 forged irons.
