Maltby L-Tech Graphite Iron/Hybrid Shafts is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Senior shafts. Installed A flex in some CG-16 irons. Gets ball up easily with same to more distance. Having small problem with direction and timing (can overswing) but these are problems with the indian, not the arrow. Installed easily, good quality.

I want a regular flex. which shaft do I order?

Asked by: Gerry
The LTech shaft is not available in a regular flex. The LL is a softer then standard ladies flex. The L is a standard Ladies flex and the A is a Senior flex. You could look at our MPF Series Iron shaft in an R flex (MA0251) or for a hybrid the MPF Series Hybrid R flex (MA0250) shafts.

what are the trim instructions for the Ltech hybrid heads (A flex)?

Asked by: RLG
You follow trim code IR31. If you are using the LTech Hybrid heads the tip trimming is: 3H = 0" 4H = 1/2" 5H = 1"

Which Maltby L-Tech shaft would you recommend for a Adams IPRO 21 deg. DHY Hybrid head? I'm a senior currently playing with regular shafted clubs.

Asked by: Rich
The L-Tech A flex would be the next step down from an R flex and unless you have lost a lot of clubhead speed or distance the A flex could work well.

what would be a good graphite shaft for irons for my swing speed (driver about 80 mph) i was thinking of putting a tricept f2 forged head on them.

Asked by: des
80 mph with the driver puts you into the low end of an R flex. Our MPF Series Iron (MA0251) could be a good choice. If you are interested in a lighter weight graphite shaft the AldaLite (AL0062) could be a good choice. The UST dhi iron (US0084) is another good option. All of these could work well with the Tricept F2 forged irons.

I have the Titleist CB 716 head and I would like to purchase the LL Flex (56g). I was wondering if you can cut the shaft in both ends and make the swing weight to C7 with the grip as a ladies undersize grip.(5 37in...p 34.75in) (G.S.L 34.50)d0.d2 swing OK

Asked by: kyongkim
The LL flex LTech iron shafts will not fit the Titleist 716 CB irons. The LTech shafts are only available in a .370" parallel tip shaft and the 716 CB irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. The LTech shafts are to big to fit the Titleist irons. None of the shaft manufactures makes a .355" taper tip graphite L or LL flex iron shaft.

Hi, I am looking at the Maltby L-Tech Graphite shafts and my swing speed is around 45-50 mph. Are these the shafts that would help me get the ball higher and a little more distance. Would you recommend the LL?

Asked by: TyHool
Yes we would recommend the LL flex in the L Tech for your swingspeed. They certainly could help you hit the ball a little higher and get a little more distance assuming the shafts you are currently using do not properly fit you.
