Maltby L-Tech Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Correct Flex My wife has been playing with A flex fairway shafts for decades, this spring we noticed her shots were consistently lower and slightly right. I replaced her 7w and 9w with the LTech 60 shaft using the L flex; both the launch angle and direction returned to normal. Another nice option which I have not seen with other shafts is an LL flex for a super slow swing speed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great senior shaft Great shaft for golfers whos swings are slowing down. Installed in 3-4 generation old 3 & 5 woods. Easily launches shots with good to better than before distance with consistant ball flight. Solid feel. Put your macho in a drawer and put these in your clubs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful in two ways I bought the shaft as one option for club fitting, specifically for women. I attached it using the club conex system to an LTech driver. However, as I tried it to demonstrate, I found that I hit it pretty well. I have a slow swing speed and have begun using Senior Flex shafts. I am thinking of just assembling a driver for me using this shaft as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money Bought this shaft for my 11 y/o son. He needed something better/ stiffer than the shafts on jr clubs. Perfect for jr golfers 11-14 who need a light but good shaft.

What flex do you have for ladies graphite shafts

Asked by: Thomas
In the LTech shaft the L flex would be a standard Ladies flex. The LL flex if more flexible then a standard ladies flex and the A flex is stiffer then a standard ladies flex.

I just bought a Maltby driver head, item # ma0240, 15D. Need a senior shaft for it. Standard length. Please advise. Customer # 1862088,order# 2887019-001.

The LTech A flex shaft can match up well. I would also look at the MPF Distance A flex as another good option. It is a very good senior flex shaft.

Hello, would you explain the cosmetics of this shaft, only have a snapshot of the bottom of the shaft blue or does it return to a silver color? Trying to match a set of clubs that is silver. Thanks!

Asked by: JT27
The top and bottom parts of the shaft are blue. The section where the silk screen is located is the only silver part. You can see the bottom section of the shaft at this link for our LTech drivers.

Will this shaft work for Cobra Fly Z Woman Hybrid 5H-6H?  It will be used by a Junior 10 year old girl.  I would like the finish club length to be 36".  When ordering it's asking about Pureing, Butt and Tip Trimming, and Tip Prep.  Please advice.

Asked by: CeeIzee
Yes the LTech Wood shafts will fit the Cobra Fly Z Women's Hybrids. Cobra did use a .335" tip diameter shaft in these Hybrids. Shaft Puring is a process to identify the most stable plane of oscillation of a shaft. Shafts are not perfectly round or straight and having the shaft Pured and aligning it during installation will make it play as if it is perfectly round and straight and create a better pattern of on center hits. Here is a link to their web site where you can see more about the process. Butt and Tip Trimming is if you want us to prepare these shaft for you. We will do the necessary tip trimming, sand the tip and butt cut the shaft to the finished length you want the clubs to be. Tip Prep is just preparing the tip end of the shaft. We do the necessary tip trimming and sand the tip of the shaft. You would still need to cut the shaft to their finished length once the shafts are installed.

Will this shafts fit a big bertha v series?  And do you think it will be good for a 7 year old girl?  Or do you have something more flexible.  I'm planning on cutting it a few inches to adjust for her height?

Asked by: Buyer
Yes the LTech wood shaft will fit the Big Bertha V Series. It does use a .335" tip diameter shaft. We would suggest using the LL flex as it is the most flexible and more flexible then a normal ladies shaft.
