Maltby LTech Driver Clubhead Specifications

Maltby LTech Drivers is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy simple to hit high and straight Came across Golfworks while shopping for new clubs after blowing out my back last year. My range of motion and swing speed are both pitiful. Was going to try the non-conforming driver but the price on this was a steal. For reference, my previous driver was the Cobra Baffler XL. Took about 4-5 balls only to dial in my swing. This driver is preposterously simple to hit high and straight. Lateral dispersion is minimal even on bad mis-hits, and it's almost impossible to slice. I'll never be able to out-drive the guys I play with, but this club is perfect for a safe, dependable setup to hit a 2nd shot from the fairway. Also, props to Golfworks for using gender-neutral colors and not plastering the word "ladies" all over the club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from None Better! I love that this comes in 13* and 15*. It's great for the ladies, but also for a lot of men! Most of my senior men need help getting higher trajectory on their drives, and this club delivers! I'm sure it was originally called LTech referring to ladies, but I call it "Launch Tech." (Now we just need a more masculine headcover option.)

I am a senior whose swing has slowed to a 55-60 mph range. Changing to the LTech driver with an L flex shaft might be helpful. I have a fairly smooth, easy swing. Is an LL flex shaft worth considering or might it be too flexible to control?

Asked by: Paul
The L flex would probably work well. We reference an L flex for driver swingspeeds in the 53 to 62 mph range. With a smooth tempo the LL flex could work but it you get a little quick it might not work quite as well.

The loft difference is the only difference. The 15 degree will hit the ball higher then the 13 degree.

The LTech driver club head weight is 205 grams, the LTech 3 wood weights 212 grams and the 5 wood 222 grams. These head weights can vary from one club model to the next. Driver have been traditionally in the 200 gram weight range, 3 woods 210 grams and 5 woods 220 grams but you will see some 3 woods at 205 grams and 5 woods in the 215 gram range.
