Maltby LTech Hybrid Views

The Maltby LTech Hybrids are much easier to hit than mid to long irons and higher lofted fairway woods. The heavy sole design increased initial launch angle from any lie to increase distance and accuracy.

  • Precision cast from 17-4 Stainless Steel
  • Heavy Sole Design and shallow face height lowers the enter of gravity, optimizing trajectory.
  • Variable face thickness maximizes ball speeds, even on off center hits.
  • Vacuum heat treated fro increased material strength and improved sound.
  • Three lofts available 21, 24 and 28.
  • Matching hybrid head cover available (MA0197)
  • Product Code = MA0242

Maltby LTech Hybrids is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to hit See my review of the L-Tech driver as well. This is a light, easy-swinging hybrid that is insanely simple to hit, and feels so good when you hit the sweet spot. I picked up the 5 hybrid (I've never been able to hit a 5-iron worth a lick) along with the driver as a tryout of quality and playability. A total winner on both counts. Easier to play than a Ping Karsten, which is billed as the "ultimate" game improvement club.

Do the Maltby LTech Hybrids come with there own shaft or do we take care of the shafts and they come just as a head?

Asked by: dshoe
The code MA0242 is for the LTech Hybrid clubheads only. We do offer an LTech shaft in 3 flexes that can work well with these heads. We do offer a Club Pak for the LTech Hybrids that you can see at this link. It includes the head, shaft and grip and we do the assembly for free.

I would like to purchase a 3 hybrid, 5 hybrid, 7 hybrid, 9 hybrid and PW hybrid.

Asked by: Jerry
We do not make or offer hybrids in a 3,5,7,9 and PW. The LTech 3,4 & 5 hybrids are the highest lofted hybrid we make.

Can you please provide the offset in mm for the 3, 4 and 5 LTech hybrids?

Asked by: NickMal
By the true definition of offset the LTech hybrids do not have any offset. By definition offset is measured from the leading edge of the hosel to the leading edge of the face. We design these hybrids so that with each loft the measurement from the leading edge of the hosel to leading edge of the face is 0" or no offset.

I have the 3,4,5 and 7 L tech hybrids and I would like a 6, the 5 is loft of 26 degrees and shaft length of 38 in, the 7 is loft of 34 degrees and shaft length 37 in. What do you suggest? I love these clubs.

Asked by: Bertha
We do not offer a 6 hybrid in the L Tech line. In the current L Tech line the H5 is 28 degrees and then we drop to the 6 iron at 32 degrees. 30 degrees is right in between the 26 and 34 degree lofts you currently have but we do not offer a hybrid these days with 30 degrees loft. The L Tech with 28 degrees is the highest lofted hybrid we currently have.

Would a 28degree Ltech work with a R hybrid shaft for a mans use?

Asked by: goodefish
I asked this question 5 months ago and would like to follow up. I bought the 28degree Ltech and used a regular hybrid shaft and it works great. I get the distance I was looking for and it comes in high and soft. It is also my go to club for anything out of the rough, the balls really comes out well. goodefish

Hello Golf Town: Regarding these hybrid do the head have any offset? I cannot use offset headed clubs as I come inside on the downswing and put a draw on the ball. I am particularly interested in the 28 degree head/shaft. Best PJWW

Asked by: PJWW
Yes these hybrids do have a slight amount of offset.
