Hi I play Cobra forged CB irons. The shafts are Dynamic gold 300R. I hit my 4 iron 190 yd’s. I hit an 8 or 9 from 150 yd’s. I would like to change the shafts on my irons to graphite. Can you suggest a shaft and flex? Thanks Joe

Asked by: Spuder
Using an 8 or 9 iron from 150 yards would put you into a Stiff flex shaft. The Cobra CB forged irons use a .355" taper tip shaft. Shafts like the Aerotech Steel Fiber 95CW (AT0015IE) and 110 CW (AT0017IE) could be good choices. We also have the UST Recoil 95 (US0085), 110 (US0087) & 125 (US0088) which could also work well for you. These models have been popular choices that will fit your Cobra iorns. The numbers such as 110 represent the shaft weight.

Hi Jim. Can you please suggest a best march graphite for a Maltby TE Forged iron. I have a set with Maltby 75 I senior shafts and the feel is not as solid as I had hoped. My swing speed is 77MPH measured on separate days on the Mizuno Swing DNA system.

I have some demo's in the school assembled with UST Recoil 670 and 680 shafts and the feedback has been very good. We use the Kuro Kage Black 2nd Gen (MR0046) in a number of our Club Paks with good feedback. The Xcaliber Iron shaft (AS0023) and Tour X Iron (AS0036) both match well. I have played the Xcaliber Iron shaft (AS0023) an it is a very solid feeling shaft to me.

will this fit a putter

Asked by: tommy
Yes it will as long as the putter uses a .370" tip diameter shaft and the shaft installs into the putterhead.

Will these shafts fit the Maltbie DBM Iron Heads? If so what ferrules would you recommend?

Asked by: Dennis
Yes the MPF graphite iron shafts will fit the DBM irons. We recommend the 64PI ferrule with these irons or I would use the 74PI myself.

Will this shaft fit a taylor made 2.0 super fast driver?

Asked by: Joe
No MA0251 is an iron shaft and will not fit the driver. We have the MPF Distance Wood shaft (MA0248) that could be installed into the 2.0 Superfast Taylor Made driver. The Superfast 2.0 Driver did use a .350" tip diameter shaft so you will need to use the BB9008 adapter to size the .350" hosel bore down to .335" so that you can install this shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/maltby-mpf-distance-graphite-wood-shafts/p/MA0248/ http://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-r5-r7-burner-and-super-quad-adaptor/p/BB9008/

need to replace a ping G2 L 9 iron shaft , I believe it is a .355 diameter tip. Need a good replament graphite shaft (cheap) Can You Help?

Asked by: Big Guy
If your L means Ladies flex there are no .355" taper tip L flex shafts available. None of the manufactures make a .355" taper tip L flex shaft for the aftermarket. The only option we would have would be to special order a UST Recoil 450 (US0095) from UST with a .355" taper tip. Our least expensive .355" taper tip graphite shaft is the Xcaliber (AS0028) but it is only available in R and S flexes. We have the 9 iron shaft (36.5") in stock in the S flex but are backordered on the R flex and likely will not have them until mid January 2017.
