Maltby Tour Grind MG Wedge Pak is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always Positive feed back I have been purchasing the Maltby line of wedges for over 10 yrs now building these clubs & donating them to the United Cerebal Pulsy for Devon Stern. Every year @the tournament I get previous Wedge winners always complementing me on the clubs. Telling me they feel " solid" & "confident " hitting these wedges. That tells me without even hitting them they are an excellent tool in your bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Value Purchased the 52 56 and 60....exceeded expectations in every way. Been playing with Ping wedges for years and thought I'd give these a go based on price and customer reviews. They're just outstanding and you won't be disappointed if you ad them to your bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best feeling wedges I've hit so far They might not have as much spin as others but they feel great, I also like the darker face made the 52 56 and 60 in stiff flex with mid size grips 1/4 inch long. First time out I chipped in 2 times once to save par.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great looking wedge Don't try to make a lie adjust I like this wedge but, when I had a a pro at my local shop try to bend it to a 55 degree, It broke!! This is not a forged wedge head. I don't know what it's made of ?? I should get a store credit for $36.99

Rated 5 out of 5 by from short game changer bought this 4 weeks ago, number of putts per round has dropped due to, "getting it closer." I'm a high handicap 18, and have dropped to 16, just from this club. Nothing in my game has changed. The grind/bounce is just logical and makes tight lies easy, and gives options in the rough. Local club pro tried it for 12 shots and said, "what's the website ?" Enough said.

Hello the pak maltby tour grind wedge 52 + 56 +60 with graphite shaft aldila 70 r with mounting at what price with transport? thank you

Asked by: Ghesquier
We do not offer a Club Pak for the Maltby Tour Grind wedges with a graphite shaft. You will need to order the wedges, Aldila graphite shaft and grips you would like separately and request to have them assembled. This would not qualify for a Club Pak price. You can contact our International Trade Accounts Manager, Donna Ours, at and she can help you with your order.

How much tip trim do you recommend using a Score LT shaft R/S to gain a regular flex in a 52* and 56* head? I have heard people will use an 8 iron tip trim. Thanks

Asked by: Lou
True Temper bases all their shaft stiffness on a clubhead design with a 1" bottom of bore to ground line measurement. I measured the bottom of bore to ground line on the MG Tour Grind wedge and it was 1.25". When the measurement is more then 1" you would add the difference that the measurement is over 1" to the recommended trimming instructions. The R flex wedge trimming instruction for the Score LT is 4" so you would add .25" to the 4" and the total trimming would be 4.25". This would keep the R flex a true R flex. Using the recommended trimming for an 8 iron, which is 3", would make the R flex play more flexible by a little more than a half a flex. You can certainly do this and can create more feel especially on the shorter shots around the green.

For the free assembly, is adjusting the loft from 52 to 51 degrees included?

Asked by: John
Loft adjustments are included with the free assembly but we have a very difficult time bending the MG Tour Grind wedges. They break very easily.

doe this club have a lot of back spin thats what im looking for thnk you

Asked by: jackcancook
How much spin it has might be determined by how it compares to the wedge you are currently using. If you are using an older wedge with grooves that are worn then it might be a big difference. This wedge has grooves that are conforming to the USGA Rules. We do not find it to have more spin then any of our other wedges.

I would like to buy a lob wedge 60* I am 70 year old with 18 handicap. What quality should I buy?

Asked by: Bobby
The Tour Grind MG are designed more for the skilled player. I would suggest either the MA0257 M-Series + Wedge. For the less skilled player the Wide 60 (Orange) could be a good choice. Also the Maltby Design Wedges (MA0265). We have it in the MS which is a similar sole width as the MA00257 Orange and the GLID 1.62 which has the widest sole width. At the links I have included you can scroll down the page to the product descriptions and read about the type of players each wedge is designed for.

If I bought this stock regular flex, what is the swingweight?

Asked by: shadow0861
Assuming the 56 degree loft with the Score LT shaft at our standard length, 35.25" with a 50 gram weight grip the swingweight would come out in the D1 range. Different specifications such as a different length or grip weight will change the swingweight.

Asked by: Goose1
We do not offer the MG Tour Grind Wedges in a Pak with a graphite shaft. If you would like to contact Customer Service possibly they can create a Pak for this wedge for you with a graphite shaft. The 56 degree wedge has 11 degrees bounce. We offer this wedge in 52, 56 and 60 degrees. You can contact Customer Service at 1-800-848-8358 or by email at
