Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+ Shaft Specifications

Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+ Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shaft I absolutely love this shaft. I'm playing a Taylormade R15 (12 degree but set to 10.5) which had a Matrix Red Ti 6Q3 shaft in Stiff. I keep the weights out to the toe as I usually fight a hook. With the Matrix shaft I was hitting it all over the lot and had no confidence. I put in the S+ Blue in regular and the higher torque number really helped my feel. I'm absolutely crushing it (for me) flying it about 250 with a nice 3-4 yard draw. I just shot even par for 9 holes for the first time in about 10 years. When I step up to the tee now I feel like I'm playing a video game, just can't seem to miss the fairway now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+Graphite Wood Shaft I bought this shaft and built my 10.5 DNA driver it is such a good buy for the drive. I gained 20 yards and hit 90% of my fairways now . Ball flight is medium to high . Buy one it is money well spent and a bargin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Customer Great upgrade, as compared with the stock shaft. Glad I found golf works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel I was in search of a stiffer shaft for my driver and came across this shaft. It has a great feel and has definitely changed my game a lot. I have hit way more fairways and have added at least 30-40 yards to my overal driving g distance without having to do anything else with me swing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from white board really solid Trying to hit tour edge ex9 with Diamana d+70s higher, would you suggest different shaft? Swing speed 105 to 107, really smooth, late release, great lag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement Bought this a month ago to replace the standard shaft on my R11 driver. I actually added 10-15 yards in distance and no difference in ball flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shaft Awesome shaft- put it into my TM M2 driver and what a big difference. Much lower and piercing ball flight, best of all for $99.00 what a deal...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diamana S+ 62 The higher torque value made the shaft 'feel' less stiff, then lower torque shaft. Playability is as good, feel what I was looking for.

How does this shaft compare to the Fubuki Z 60 and Bassara G 53 S? Looking to build a custom Big Bertha Fusion driver, currently play an FT-5 with Fujikura ES-150 S.

Asked by: The Steel
The Diamana S+ S flex weights 64 grams, with 4.5 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid ball flight. The Fubuki Z 60 S flex weights 64 grams with 4.1 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid/low ball flight. The Bassara G 53 S flex weights 56 grams with 4.4 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid ball flight. The Bassara G 53 will likely play a little more flexible then a normal S flex. That is pretty typical for shafts in the 50 gram weight range.

Available in Lite flex which is Diamana senior flex? I purchased a Lite Blueboard Lite 53x5ct shaft from Golf Works several years ago

Asked by: Jack
Original Diamana Blue board in a Lite flex is not available and out of production. WE do have the Tensei CK Blue first generation product in a 53 gram A flex (MR0068) that is a mid/high trajectory shaft and should play similar to the original Blue Board Lite flex. The price has also been reduced for this special offer product to $129.00. Was $199.99 last year.

Can it be adapted for a Ping G30 driver?

Asked by: Diane
Yes this could be installed into a Ping G30 driver. You would either need to purchase a new Ping Shaft Adaptor (PGC002) or reshaft the existing shaft adaptor. https://www.golfworks.com/ping-g30-series-shaft-adaptor/p/PGC002/

Currently I have the Aldila VS Proto 60 R in a Cobra Bio + Driver (3b1m). I feel I need something with a little more height and a bit more kick at the bottom. So would this Diamana S+ shaft in Regular (3b2s) do that?

Asked by: getting old
The Diamana S+ is a good shaft and could work well. Another shaft I recommend quite often is the Graphite Design YS6+ (YS633WPL). It is another good shaft that could work well. https://www.golfworks.com/graphite-design-ys-6-graphite-wood-shaft/p/YS633WPL/

Asked by: Chuck
Mitsubishi lists the S+ Blue 70 at 69 grams for the R flex, 71 grams for the S flex and 72 grams for the X flex. They do not make an aftermarket version of this shaft for a fairway wood.

Would like to replace shaft in Ping I25 driver came with pwr65 tour spec. I have hit the S+ in TM2 and gave me a desired ball flight. Swing speed 100. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Mic
It you have hit the S+ and liked it that would be where I would start. At 100 mph that would put you into an S flex shaft. The Diamana S+ shaft is a very good shaft.
