Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+ Shaft Specifications

Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+ Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shaft I absolutely love this shaft. I'm playing a Taylormade R15 (12 degree but set to 10.5) which had a Matrix Red Ti 6Q3 shaft in Stiff. I keep the weights out to the toe as I usually fight a hook. With the Matrix shaft I was hitting it all over the lot and had no confidence. I put in the S+ Blue in regular and the higher torque number really helped my feel. I'm absolutely crushing it (for me) flying it about 250 with a nice 3-4 yard draw. I just shot even par for 9 holes for the first time in about 10 years. When I step up to the tee now I feel like I'm playing a video game, just can't seem to miss the fairway now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+Graphite Wood Shaft I bought this shaft and built my 10.5 DNA driver it is such a good buy for the drive. I gained 20 yards and hit 90% of my fairways now . Ball flight is medium to high . Buy one it is money well spent and a bargin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel I was in search of a stiffer shaft for my driver and came across this shaft. It has a great feel and has definitely changed my game a lot. I have hit way more fairways and have added at least 30-40 yards to my overal driving g distance without having to do anything else with me swing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement Bought this a month ago to replace the standard shaft on my R11 driver. I actually added 10-15 yards in distance and no difference in ball flight.

Is the Diamana S+ shaft similar to the Rayon Tensei shaft that Taylormade offers for its M2 driver? I'm looking for a similar shaft for my Callaway XR16.

Asked by: Rick3237
In Taylor Made custom options I see they offer a Tensei CK Pro White. The White is designed to produce a lower trajectory that would be more like the Diamana D+ (MR0035). Even the Kuro Kage Silver (MR0036) could work to match the playing characteristics of the Tensei CK Pro White.

hi I have a JPX 900 with a stiff shaft ,I drive the ball about 255 with a slight fade and swing speed about 94 . would a reg. shaft be better or stay with a stiff but I am interested in this shaft

Asked by: Edward
At 94 mph your swingspeed is right on the line between an R and S flex. If you have a smooth swing tempo the R flex will probably work just fine. Another option would be to take the R flex and tip trim 1/2" to make it play between an R and S flex. If you have a faster or more aggressive tempo than the S flex would give you more control.

Will this shaft fit a Callaway XR 16 driver? What other options would you recommend? With the original shaft, the ball is fading a lot.So looking at a shaft wherein I can hit straight and distance. And do the shafts come in with the adaptor/sleeve and grip ?

Asked by: Ashwinder
The Diamana S+ is a very good shaft and could help straighten our your fade. I am assuming your XR 16 has the stock Fujikura Speeder Evolution 565 shaft. You will need to order the Callaway Shaft Adaptor CA0020 separately and also the grip you would like. We can prep the shaft and install the adaptor and grip for you before we ship the shaft. There are additional charges for these services. You can contact our International Trade Accounts Manager, Donna Ours, at and she can help you with your order.

I have a titleist 915 d2 with a red weight and a diamana red board stock shaft.  I would like to have this new diamana S+ shaft cut to 44".  What weight would I need to keep the same swing weight as the original.

Asked by: Joe
Assuming the finished length of this driver is going to be the same with the new shaft as it was with the old shaft and they are both 60 gram weight shafts the swingweight should not change. If the driver is currently 45" and you are going to make it 44" you would need to increase the clubhead weight by 12 grams. The read weight is 9 grams and the heaviest weight we have is 17 grams which is an 8 gram difference. We do not have a weight heavy enough for you to at 12 grams. If the information I have assumed here is not correct then I would need you to tell me the length of the driver with the current shaft and what finished length you will be assembling it to with the new shaft.
