Project X Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Project X Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I bought this shaft to reduce the spin rate of my drives from almost 4000 rpm to about 3000rpm. I love how this shaft releases at the right moment but I hooked the ball with my Titleist 910 D3 in the draw setting. I changed it to a neutral setting and now my drive went from 255 yds( Diamana Ahina shaft) to 275 plus yds (Project X 6.5). Fix your swing, get your numbers, find the right shaft for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding feel and impact stability Went with this for my Ping i20 driver instead of PX black. The feel during the unloading of this shaft is unreal, and the stability, and again the feel through impact makes ballstriking amazingly consistent no matter how hard you might happen to get on it for a few extra yards. Puts the off the rack shaft options to shame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ping G30 Driver I had this particular shaft in a previous driver and was excellent so I purchased it for my Ping G30 and it appeared to have more flex than I liked. Never the less I am keeping it in case my swing speed reduces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Project X 6.0 I had played the 5.5 in two Adams hybrids and they really performed well. So, I decided to takeout the $200+ wholesale shaft and try the $59.99. It really has worked great with extra roll and flatter ball flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great golf shaft I bought the 5.0 to replace the Project X Tour(reg) shaft on my Callaway driver and 3 wood. I am a senior golfer and wanted a little more flex in the shaft. It was the perfect change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Project X Black 6.5 Ordered this shaft as an upgrade from Ping for my G 30 Driver. Not a very good shaft. I had a pro shop check the specs and they were way off. The specs worked out to be the same as a regular not stiff.

Help me with the right shaft 3d2m to put on my g30 ping

Asked by: Bob
Actually we do not have any shafts that fall under the 3D2M code. We have the Grafalloy ProLite 35 HL (TT0057) which is a 3D3M and would fit the Ping G30. There are still some lighter weight shaft that fall in the 3B2M catagory. A shaft like the Aldila NVS 55 (AL202202) R flex could be a good choice. A light weight shaft I have recommended a lot for more distance is the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 (TT0106).

Can’t decide which PX to purchase the5.5 or 6.0 for my Ping G 30

Asked by: Bob
If you know your true driver swing speed or know what club you use to hit shots on the green from 150 yards that will help you to determine the proper frequency/flex to match your game. If you are unsure of both, see below for the link to our MPF shaft rating guide to help you find the proper flex needed. https://www.golfworks.com/mpf-shaft-fitting-worksheet/a/496/

Hi i am looking for a project x hazardous black shaft to go into an epic driver do you have one please?

Asked by: Bob
You can call into Customer service. This is a special order shaft through True Temper. We can bring this in for you if you place an order. Typically would take a week to ten days as long as True Temper has them in stock. Please refer to part # TT3001, TT3002 if you decide to get one through GolfWorks.

I am looking for the trim guide / chart for "Project X" .335 graphite shaft. Senior flex, 9 wood

Asked by: Monty
This Project X graphite wood shaft is not available in a senior flex. You would use trim code W2 which is on page 3 at this link. You would tip trim 1 1/2" for a 9 wood. https://www.golfworks.com/images/art/shaft_trim_inst.pdf

how can you tell if a shaft has a senior flex?

Asked by: josh
They do not make a senior flex in the Project X graphite wood shaft. If they did it would have been coded a 3.5 flex. Most senior shafts are codes with an A. UST uses F2 for senior flex with some of their shafts. Other companies will use R2 to indicate senior flex.

What are the specs for the Project X PXV shaft and how would you compare it to the HZRDUS 6.0 63 gr shaft

Asked by: JZ335
There were a couple of Project X PXv shaft models. We use to stock the 52 and 70. The 52 was a mid 50 gram weight shaft with 4* torque on the S flex. It was a mid/high bend point with a med/firm tip stiffness. The 70 S flex was 64 grams, 3.5* torque and a high bend point firm tip stiffness. Project X shows 4 different Hardus shafts on their web site. All 4 models have a 60 gram weight version. You can see the shaft and specifications at this link from the Project X web site. https://www.pxshaft.com/?doing_wp_cron=1513780265.9400529861450195312500

Is the project x 5.5 graphite wood shaft equivalent to an R flex

Asked by: Donn
With the Project X graphite wood shaft 5.5 is considered the S flex and 5.0 is between an R and S flex. The Project X graphite wood shaft is not made in an R flex.
