Project X Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Project X Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft I bought this shaft to reduce the spin rate of my drives from almost 4000 rpm to about 3000rpm. I love how this shaft releases at the right moment but I hooked the ball with my Titleist 910 D3 in the draw setting. I changed it to a neutral setting and now my drive went from 255 yds( Diamana Ahina shaft) to 275 plus yds (Project X 6.5). Fix your swing, get your numbers, find the right shaft for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ping G30 Driver I had this particular shaft in a previous driver and was excellent so I purchased it for my Ping G30 and it appeared to have more flex than I liked. Never the less I am keeping it in case my swing speed reduces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding feel and impact stability Went with this for my Ping i20 driver instead of PX black. The feel during the unloading of this shaft is unreal, and the stability, and again the feel through impact makes ballstriking amazingly consistent no matter how hard you might happen to get on it for a few extra yards. Puts the off the rack shaft options to shame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Project X 6.0 I had played the 5.5 in two Adams hybrids and they really performed well. So, I decided to takeout the $200+ wholesale shaft and try the $59.99. It really has worked great with extra roll and flatter ball flight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Project X Black 6.5 Ordered this shaft as an upgrade from Ping for my G 30 Driver. Not a very good shaft. I had a pro shop check the specs and they were way off. The specs worked out to be the same as a regular not stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great golf shaft I bought the 5.0 to replace the Project X Tour(reg) shaft on my Callaway driver and 3 wood. I am a senior golfer and wanted a little more flex in the shaft. It was the perfect change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft Bought the 6.5 shaft for my New Maltby KE4 ST-2A Driver. I wanted a lower spin rate and lower ball flight. The balance feels so good in my hands Now I just need one for my 3 wood.

Yes 5.5 is the Stiff flex. 4.5, if it were offered, would be the true R flex.

I am trying to find a lighter weight shaft for my driver. I am unable to tell what weights any of these shafts have. Can you please tell me how to determine which shafts are lighter than others? Thank you,

Asked by: Rook22
With any of the shafts when you bring up the page simply scroll down the page and you will come to a specification box with the shaft weights and all the shaft specifications listed. Even with this Project X shaft the weight is listed in right in the order line, for example (60g) is a 60 gram weight shaft.

I have a ladies tm aeroburner 10.5 deg with the stock ladies tm shaft. During a lesson the pro indicated that this shaft has too much flex for my swing. I have a high ball flt and no roll. Should i consider the 5.0 project x senior shaft as a replacement

Asked by: Fille 2225
The Project X 5.0 shaft is actually a Firm Regular flex shaft and it could prove to be to stiff. Possibly a shaft like the Kuro Kage 50 A flex (MR0044) or the Aldila NVS 55 A flex (AL202202) could be good choices. https://www.golfworks.ca/mitsubishi-rayon-kuro-kage-black-hbp-2nd-gen-wood-shafts/p/MR0044/ https://www.golfworks.ca/aldila-nvs-graphite-wood-shafts/p/AL202202/

Does the Project x 5.5 blue shaft have "project x" written in the flames on the underside of the shaft? Not just the white lettering?

Asked by: Duffindan
No it does not have the Project X written in flames on this shaft. The shaft with the flames would be a Project X that was made for a specific manufacturer. I know Royal Precision made some Project X shafts exclusively for Callaway.
