The difference between  the 335 and  370

Asked by: Hobie16
In the Rifle shafts there was no difference in the playability of the .355" taper tip and .370" parallel tip. All Rifle shafts are initially made as a .370" parallel tip shaft and once they were set up for club number and frequency they would put a the shafts back in a machine to give them a .355" taper tip. The shafts were easier to frequency match when they were initially made as a .370" parallel tip. With other shafts the playing characteristics between .355" taper tip and .370" parallel can vary. Dynamic Gold's will play a little bit different between the .355" and .370".

Hello! I`interesting in project rifle shaft. My club head speed is about 85 mph, so  which shaft is best for me 5,0 or 5,5? regards: Juha Kaunisto

Asked by: citizen kane
If 85 mph is your driver swingspeed then Royal Precision would recommend the 5.0 flex. If the 85 mph is your 5 iron swingspeed then they would recommend the 5.5 flex.

What're recommended swing sped ranges for the project x 6.0 and 6.5. Would alsolikethe same info for the matrix white tie x and s flexes.

Asked by: Karp
Swing speed guidelines for the 6.0 is 95-110 mph. 6.5 would be 110+. Both of those frequencies are for players with very quick and aggressive swing characteristics. The Ozik X4 White Tie stiff flex would be recommended for players in the 90-100 mph swing speed. The X flex would be best suited at swing speeds of 110 +

Hi what would be the benefits of fitting project x 6.5 shafts to my ping g20 irons over the standard shafts ? regards Thomas Calvert ,COCKATOO AUSTRALIA.

Asked by: TOMMO
The stock steel shaft from Ping in the G20 irons was listed as the CFS which compared to the Project X 6.5 is approximately 10 grams lighter in weight and designed to produce a higher ball flight. The Project X is designed to produce a lower ball flight. If using a heavier shaft that flights the ball lower would be a benefit to you over the stock shaft then the Project X could be a benefit to you.
