In the Rifle shafts there was no difference in the playability of the .355" taper tip and .370" parallel tip. All Rifle shafts are initially made as a .370" parallel tip shaft and once they were set up for club number and frequency they would put a the shafts back in a machine to give them a .355" taper tip. The shafts were easier to frequency match when they were initially made as a .370" parallel tip.
With other shafts the playing characteristics between .355" taper tip and .370" parallel can vary. Dynamic Gold's will play a little bit different between the .355" and .370".
