    Pure Wrap Grip Specifications

Pure P2 Wrap - Midsize Golf Grips is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from my new favorite grips I have been playing Pure wrap grips for a couple of years. They are easy to install - I install them without tape using a regular air blower nozzle and glass cleaner as a lubricant. If I was installing them more often than one time a year I would probably purchase the Pure installation tool. I played GolfPride wraps in the past - I think the Pure grips are a little softer but also last longer. I do not wear a glove and have had no problem in the rain or heat. I like using multiple colors, too - wedges, short irons, long irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grip I've Played Love these grips, a little tackier than the Golf Pride Tour Grip, especially in the rain. Live the color selections.

I have Ping gold size grips.  Would the pure midsize be the same size or pure regular with extra tape.  Thanks!

Asked by: MH25
The Ping Gold color code grips are listed at 1/32" oversize. The Pure "Midsize" designated grip is closer to 1/16" oversize, so it is definitely larger. So, starting with the Pure standard and building up to the 1/32" oversize would be the way to go.

Should the grips be put on specific clubs given their weight differences? The whites are the heaviest, so should they be put on clubs with heavier club heads, say wedges? With the lighter grips used on lighter weighted club heads. Or does it matter?

Asked by: DBP
You certainly could use the different grip weights on heavier and lighter weight clubs as you mentioned. The reason for the different grip weights actually comes from how the different color dyes affect the material and the weight of the grips.

are these good for arthritic hands

Asked by: Nunzio
The Mid Size or possibly even the Jumbo (PU0023) Pure grips could help some one with arthritis. https://www.golfworks.com/pure-wrap-jumbo-golf-grip/p/PU0023/ It could be worth trying 1 or 2 first before getting the whole set to see how well they work.

Without question my favorite grip is the Golf Pride CP2 Wrap, but after reading about Pure Grips I'd like to give them a try. Which of the styles most closely resembles the CP2 Wrap?  Thank you.

Asked by: Birdiemon532
The Pure Wrap would be the most similar to the CP2 Wraps. One difference is that the CP2 Wraps do not taper as much at the bottom part of the grip as the Pure Wraps do. You will likely need to add some additional build up wraps under the bottom section of the Pure Wraps to get the same size as the CP2 grips.

I have the tour wrapped midsize in black is this as good ?as the pure wrap midsize?

Asked by: Marty
I would say the Golf Pride grip is as good as the Pure Wrap grips. The Golf Pride mid size grip is made to have less taper under the bottom hand and that would be different then what the Pure Grips do.

The Pure grips are designed to be installed with air but also can be installed with double sided grip tape and solvent.

What is the weight of this midsize grip in grams?   What is the weight of the standard grip in grams?  Why iosn't this grip in your catalog?

Asked by: Tomm
The weights for the Pure PT grips are: White Mid (64g), Black Mid (60g), White Std. (53g), all other colors of the standard size grips weigh approximately 48 grams. Pure Grip is a new vendor for us. We typically add product from new vendors to the web only for short period time to evaluate sales prior to inserting them into the catalog.
