Hi Jim, thanks for the response. No, it is definitely not epoxy in the Callaway-adaptor shafts. It is most definitely formed plastic that is 'fit/sized' to the internal diameter of the golf shaft. This plastic sheath that takes up the extra space does appear to be epoxied to the brass or plastic flange of the weight that slides inside of it. Perhaps you can call Callaway about it. If GolfWorks doesn't sell anything like it, I will stick with my wraps of masking tape until I start manufacturing something similar, and making millions of $$'s selling them to GolfWorks ;-).
