Short Hosel Bending Bar

The GolfWorks Short Hosel Bending features a new and improved bending knuckle set at an angle for the maximum leverage needed for the stubborn iron heads with short hosels. The bar length has also been lengthened to 24, again to maximize leverage. The Short Hosel Bending bar is made of high grade stainless steel with a no slip cushioned rubber grip for added durability and comfort.
Short Hosel Bending Bar is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product This bar works as advertised. It is angled appropriately for securing the hosel in order to make proper adjustments. It will leave a mark - the telltale sign that the lie has been adjusted - but I knew that going in and for as little as I adjust my clubs, I really couldn't see spending the extra $50-80 to get a non-marking bar. The extra length really helps with leverage, making it a lot easier to bend hosels. I'm very happy with the product.

Could i use this to bend my sonartec hb001 hybrid?

Asked by: lloyd
It is very difficult to bend hybrid heads. The short hosel bending bar could work, but you must be able to get the head secured in a bending machine without damaging the crown. Also, if the hosel is not long enough, you will not be able to bend it, even with the short hosel bending bar. Finally, if the hosel is painted, the finish will probably be damaged if you try and bend it.

Will this short hosel bar work for standard irons as well?

Asked by: Bosoxfan
The short hosel bending bar can work on standard hosels, but we recommend using a standard long hosel bending bar for standard hosels. Standard bars distribute the pressure more evenly, making it less likely to crimp or crack the hosel. Short hosel bending bars used on standard length hosels can and will cause damage to hosels. They can be used, but the risk for damage is higher. We recommend the GW1087, GW1077, GW0119, or BNMB for standard length hosel bending.

Hi, is this a tool that is held in a vice? Does it come with a way or instructions to measure the angles of the club?

Asked by: Jdamonte
Bending bars are used to bend iron head hosels by hand by using the leverage created from bending bar while the golf club head is clamped into a golf club bending machine. The bar cannot be used without a bending machine to securely clamp the iron head.
