Tacki-Mac Authritic Golf Grip Specifications

Tacki-Mac Arthritic Golf Grips is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arthritic Grips Having arthritis and fairly constant pain in both thumbs makes it difficult to enjoy the sport on some days. These grips have helped overcome the negatives with less effort needed to make a solid swing and have more good results. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work great Being stuck in WA for several years I had trouble with keeping grips dry. Played Chambers Bay in mist, rain and sleet. On 3 tee shots toward the end of the round my driver was spinning in my hand at impact. Added a few strokes to a fairly good round otherwise. I decided on this grip for the deep texture that seems dry even when it's not. The soft feel promotes lighter grip pressure and more club speed. I'm almost in my 60s and my hands appreciate the vibration dampening effects too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arthritic Grips I bought these grips without checking that they are "oversized". They are too large for me (I use standard size grips). The feel however is great and really suits those with arthritis. I gave them to a friend who has larger hands and he liked them very much. I would like to buy more of these grips as I play with many seniors here who would like to have them. I wonder if they come in standard size?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work! I have developed arthritis in my hands, to the point where playing golf could be painful. These grips turn out to be a great solution - they are larger in diameter, and cannot slip in your hands if you don't or can't hold them tight. Played a round this past weekend with them and felt no discomfort at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Grips My club's are 1 year old and these are the 4th set of grips and the last. I have the arthritic grip from Tacki-Mac and love them. I can feel the club during my back swing and through to impact. Yes I can still hit it that was my problem with the other grips the ball was all over and I hate the pitch out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size I have used these grips for 20 years. First because I have big hands and now they are comfortable even with sore hands. The only downside to such a heavy grip is the need to add weight to the club head to keep the swing weight correct.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grips for all Players These oversize grips are great for all golfers, arthritic or not. They are very comfortable and give firm control of the club with very little grip pressure. Best value I have found in over 40 years of golfing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very soft feel and not as harsh on arthitic hands I was going to go to an oversize grip to compensate for my arthritis the I saw these in my catalog. After putting them on my Driver & fairway clubs I have sold 6 more to fellow golfers at my club. Great results

Reshafting project, nothing glued yet. In test fitup, irons swingweight at about E2 without grip which is about D2 with common grips. These arthritic oversize guys come in at C7 finished. What do the pro's do? Add some tip weight now or live with it?

Asked by: Barry
With the Pro's there is a good chance that they would have heavier clubhead weights to accommodate the larger heavier grip size and get the swingweight they want. The manufactures do custom grind the heads for tour players and grinding them to the weight they need is part of this. In this case tip weights or lead tape are your options.

your arthritic grips say .600(rd). What is the maximum shaft diameter these grips can be assembled to?

Asked by: Vince
They would go on shafts up to probably .650". It might take a little more solvent and effort to install them but they should go on a shaft this size. They will not fit Taylor Made Bubble shaft.

what is the outside diameter of these grips ? Would you know of a place in my area that sells them ?

Asked by: Peter
Measuring from right below the butt cap to the mouth: Butt: 1.043" middle: 0.898" mouth: 0.649 If you are installing the grip onto a .600" butt shaft with double sided tape the overall grip size will be +1/32" installed. I am not sure of any locations in your are that would stock these grips. However, we do have a Canadian office that could ship to your location.
