HUGE?FERRULE?SELECTION! A complete selection of ferrules with modern outside diameters that match perfectly to the outside diameter of our hosels. All ferrules have a 19° countersink which allows a cushion of epoxy to form between the top of the hosel and the inside of the ferrule, strengthening the bond. Each ferrule also is “pre-washed,” arriving at your shop with a high-gloss finish and no need for an acetone wipe to make it shine!Choose iron ferrules from standard to XX-long lengths. Available as single ferrules or buy ferrules by the dozen.

I have the 2004 Mizuno JPX-EZ with 0.355 steel shafts. What ferrules should I use when replacing shafts?

Asked by: Yuan
You could use the 66TI. It would match close to the stock ferrule Mizuno used. Personally I would use the 61PI. It is a .370" ferrule but .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exists the top of the hosel so it will work well and will match closer to the outside diameter of the hosel and require less finishing.

I need ferrules for KBS .355 tapered shafts, to be used with Adams CMB forged irons. Can you help?

Asked by: Mike
Personally I always use a ferrule like the 61PI with a .355" taper tip shaft. .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exists the top of the hosel so the .370" ferrule will fit and they match closer to the outside diameter of the hosel and require less finishing. Or you could use the 65TI which will work well.

Are the 66TI tapered iron black ferrules about 7/8" long? I have a set of Titleist AP2 forged irons about 7 years old & the ferrules appear to be about 7/8" long. I'm changing out the iron shafts & I want to match the same ferrules. Thx.

Asked by: Mac
The 66TI ferrules are .875" in length (7/8").

I am installing .355 KBS shafts into Maltby TE Irons (universal bore). Should I use a .355 ferrule? Also, when installing .355 shafts into .370 bore (using a shim), what size ferrule should I use? Thanks!

Asked by: BrettB64
You could use either a .355" taper tip ferrule or a .370" parallel tip ferrule with the .355" taper tip shafts. The .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel so the .370" ferrules will fit and they will match closer to the outside diameter of the hosels and require less sizing and finishing. This would also be true if you are using a shim.

Hello, I would like to know the OD of my irons golf club which is mizuno MP4. My ID is .355. Thnks for your answer

Asked by: Fred
Mizuno MP4 irons use a .355" taper tip shaft and you can use either a .355" taper ferrule. Mizuno used a plain black ferrule like the 66TI. You could also use the 61PI which is a.370" ferrule. .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exists the top of the hosel so .370" ferrules will fit and the .370" ferrule will match closer to the outside diameter of the hosel and require less sizing and finishing. https://www.golfworks.com/golf-club-iron-ferrules-black/p/60PI/

I am reshafting my Taylor Made R9 6 iron with a Project x 5.5 .355 taper tip.  The stock ferrule has the double crome ring. Which ferrule should I use for this project?

Asked by: Bill OB
The Taylor Made R9 irons used a .370" parallel tip shaft and the R9 TP irons used a .355" taper tip shaft. You could use the 72PI ferrule. Even though it is a .370" ferrule it will still fit the Project X 5.5 .355" taper tip shafts because .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel. https://www.golfworks.com/golf-club-iron-ferrules-colored-trim-ring/p/52PIS/ If you have the R9 irons and not the R9 TP you will need to use a shim to make the .355" taper tip shafts fit properly. Our SHIMT (.355 - .370) works well for this installation. https://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/
