HUGE?FERRULE?SELECTION! A complete selection of ferrules with modern outside diameters that match perfectly to the outside diameter of our hosels. All ferrules have a 19° countersink which allows a cushion of epoxy to form between the top of the hosel and the inside of the ferrule, strengthening the bond. Each ferrule also is “pre-washed,” arriving at your shop with a high-gloss finish and no need for an acetone wipe to make it shine!Choose iron ferrules from standard to XX-long lengths. Available as single ferrules or buy ferrules by the dozen.

Reshafting Cleveland forged 588 CD with XP 95 shaft. Which Ferrule would you suggest?

Asked by: YSS
Cleveland used a ferrule that was in the 3/4" to 7/8" range so a ferrule like the 66TI or 75TI at 7/8" long could work. You could also use a ferrule like the 61PI which is a .370" ferrule size. .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel so the .370" ferrules will fit and they match closer to the outside diameter of the hosel and require less sizing and finishing.

Looking to reshaft my srixons Z745s. What ferrules to match? 67TI? Thanks

Asked by: FEWO
Personally the ferrule that I would use is the 61PI. It is a .370" ferrule but will still fit the .355" taper tip shaft. The .355" taper tip shafts taper out to approximately .370" where the shaft exists the top of the hosel so the .370" ferrule fit well and the .370" ferrule in this case will match closer to the hosel outside diameter so you will not have to do as much ferrule sizing and finishing.

what kind of ferrules would I use for MP 4 model and it is a .355 shaft in case I want to replaced the shaft

Asked by: tonyg
Personally I would use the 61PI. Even though it is a .370" ferrule it will fit the .355" taper tip shaft. The .355" taper tip shafts tapers out to .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel so the .370" ferrule will fit. The 61PI will match closer to the outside diameter of the hosel better then the taper tip ferrules.
