Will my R1 adapter fit the R15 driver head?

Asked by: Jmcash21
Yes, from the information I have from Taylor Made the R1 adpaptor will fit the R15 driver. The settings will be different in that the R1 adaptor changed in 1.5 degrees and the R15 adaptor changed 2 degrees. The standard setting will be fine.

The stock shaft for TM R1 has a .350 tip and adapter.  The shaft I want to use has a .335 and there is a .335 adapter available for the R1.  My question is...are the adapters .335 and .350 the same size with different bore sizes.

Asked by: Insidetheleather
The TM0019 shaft adaptor will allow you to install a .335" tip shaft into the original R1 driver. The outside diameter of the shaft adaptors are the same but the inside diameter on the TM0019 is sized for the .335" tip size shaft.

I am LH.  If I get a RH adaptor will the loft setting just be the opposite. 12 degrees is now 8?

Asked by: Jeremy
The standard setting would be the same if you use the RH adaptor in a LH club but any changes you make will read opposite of how they are marked on the adaptor.

Do you think you're EVER going to get some R1 adaptors?

Asked by: Tbird
I found that the TM0023 adapter for M1, M2, R15, and SLDR has the exact same lower portion as the R1 adapter.  It will require some additional work to determine what loft setting your at, but at least you can still use your R1.

I have a 3 SLDR 15 degree and a 3HL SLDR 17 degree.  I need a new shaft for both in senior flex and an adapter for both.  Please provide a recommendation.  Thank you very much!

You might look at the Fujikura EXS Wood shaft FK0071, which can be installed into a 3 wood and the Fujikura FK0074 EXS Hybrid shafts. The R2 is the Senior flex. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FK0071 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=FK0074 A good inexpensive option could be the Tour Tech Fairway wood and Hybrid shafts. A is the Senior flex in this shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=GT0002 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=GT0003 You would need the TT0023 Taylor Made Adaptor for the fairway wood and it is currently on backorder until the middle of August. We no longer have an adaptor for the Taylor Made Hybrids. We actually get them from Taylor Made and they no longer have them available. You would have to reshaft the existing adaptor.

I am looking for a regular shaft for an R1 taylormade driver

Asked by: Richard Karl
The stock shaft that came in the R1 driver was an Aldila RIP Pheonom that weighted 55 grams. We do sell the RIP Phenom 50 (AL0034) http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AL0034
