I'm looking for a TaylorMade R9 LH Adaptor Sleeve and senior shaft

Asked by: mike53
We do not have a LH adaptor for the Taylor Made R9. You can use the RH adaptor and the standard setting and 180 degrees from standard settings will read correctly. The other readings will read opposite of what is shown. For a senior flex shaft the Kuro Kage Black HBP 2nd Gen. A flex (MR0044) or the Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 A flex (TT0106) could be good choices.

Are there shaft adjustable hostels for R7 driver and and burner super light?

Asked by: Tony
No. Taylor Made did not use shaft adaptors with the R7 and Burner Super Light and one cannot be installed. You could use the BB9027 adaptor for installing a .335" tip size shaft into these drivers and it will allow you to adjust the lie and face angle. You can change the lie and face angle by approximately 1.5 degrees from upright to flat and closed face to open face angle. https://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-ping-lie-face-angle-adaptor/p/BB9012/

How does the shaft gone this adapter?

Asked by: Tony
Generally the shafts are installed with the logo on top of the shaft so that you would see the logo when you are in the address position. You would install the shaft into the adaptor with the STD Loft setting on the back of the clubhead and lined up to the marks on the clubhead. The shaft logo would be on top of the shaft. It can be a good idea to put the shaft adaptor into the clubhead and then dry fit the shaft to see how everything lines up. You carefully sand the tip of the shaft and epoxy it into the shaft adaptor.

I understand that using a RH adapter on a LH club would cause the loft adjustment to be the opposite as indicated ("+" = "-", "-" = "+", and "upright" would change to flatter). But, the face angle adjustments should be unaffected right?

Asked by: protogo
Using the RH adaptor in a LH club the standard and upright setting would be the same. It is all the other adjustments that would read opposite.

The adapters on my LH TaylorMade R11S Driver and R11 Fairway woods are marked with +/- 1.0 degree loft adjust-ability. When and why did TaylorMade change the adapter and is the +/- 1.5 degree adapter interchangeable with the ones on my clubs.

Asked by: protogo
In checking our old catalogs for us it looks like it changed from 2012 to 2013. At least that is when our product code for this product changed. The TM0016 at 1.5 degrees is the only adaptor we have for the R11 driver and fairway woods these days.

I have a grafalloy bimatrix shaft in my R11s, will this shaft with adapter fit into 2017 M2 club head?

Asked by: RBjr
The shaft adaptor from the R11 driver will not fit the 2017 M2 driver. You would have to install the Bi-Matrix shaft into the TM0023 adaptor to be able to use it with the 2017 M2 driver. https://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-m1-m2-r-15-sldr-shaft-adaptor/p/TM0023/

replacing a stiff flex shaft with an regular flex. the shaft that is being replaced is a Fujikura blur stiff flex. what replacement shaft would you recommend ? Also what is the recommended shaft trim on new shaft?

Asked by: Bill Graf
The Fujikura Blur in the R11 was a 60 gram weight shaft with a .350" tip size. The Fujikura Pro 63 (FK0081) could be a good replacement for the Blur. For this shaft or any .335" tip size shaft you would need the TM0016 Taylor Made shaft adaptor. Tip trimming for a driver with this shaft would be 0" per the shaft manufactures instructions.
